[ Drat. One of Haruka's crutches clatters to the cobblestones as she stabilizes herself against the fence surrounding this café. The Audino who'd been hostessing hurries over - guest, guest! - but Haruka just smiles. ] Don't worry. My ride's almost here.

[ Out in the street, Fights with Brilliance the shiny Rhyhorn snorts. Even her breath glitters.

...a baby Smeargle, however, is watching from the doorway, where it'd been in the process of helping to write up the daily special. That human is such a beautiful canvas. It wants to sign her leg cast. ]

[ Union Divine Theater ]

[ Haruka is sprawled beneath the (healing) Berry tree, her good leg propped up while the one in a cast is stretched out in front of her. Natto is hovering over her, offering her a pillow to sit on. She sighs. ] I'm not that fragile.

[ Oh. Natto steps back. That is a good point. A bit harshly put, but he can also understand why Trainer would be short with him. So he just smiles. He's happy if you're not in pain, Trainer. And he'll go make something that will cheer you up! ] Vanny vanny. Leavanny!

[ Haruka snorts as Natto takes his leafve, but the snort turns into a smile when she thinks no one's watching. ]

[ Do you operate a fighting dojo? Do you live with a bunch of strong people? Is anything about your residence even remotely martial?

If so (heck, even if not; this Pokémon is not known for his accuracy), there is somebody barking up a storm on your doorstep at the crack of dawn. HELLO!!!!! IS ANYONE INSIDE INTERESTED IN OBTAINING A DISCIPLE?? HE WOULD LIKE TO TRAIN HERE, PLEASE! PLEASE MAKE HIM STRONG!! ] JOLT! Jolt jolteon! Eeeee eon jolt jol! JOOOOLTTEEEEEEEOOOOONNN!!!

....Theater residents also have the option of encountering this gentlemon as he attempts to sneak out of the courtyard. His head is sticking out the front gate while his back half, butt-fluff and all, sticks out whence he came. He was trying to be Sneaky and then the door closed!! ]

[ Haruka looks away. ] Check up on the Pokémon first.

[ Charging the Emperor was her decision. Commandeering the helicopter, her idea. It's only right that she should reap what she sowed, and she doesn't regret it.

But the Pokémon went along with her because they trusted her judgment - not just her own, but everybody's. They don't deserve to suffer on her account. ]

There's plenty of people checking up on the Pokémon, because Pokémon are smart enough to ask for help when they need it.

And most trainers do make sure their partners get help first, of course.

[ Haruka smirks, since she deserved that. Everyone is so fussy, honestly. She'd understand it from Michiru, but she also consistently underestimates the fact that other people might care about her, too. Enough to make her problems their problems.

What a bunch of nosy folks. ] I'll let you know.

Uh huh, I bet you will.

[She sits down next to Haruka. She's got nowhere to be for the moment, and it's not like Haruka can dramatically walk into the distance right now.]

So, looks like we did our job. And a few people got hurt, but it actually went a lot better than I was expecting...

[ Haruka nods. The fact that they're having this discussion while several miles of leg lie all bound up in front of them has either escaped her or she's deemed it unimportant when the big picture's considered. ] That's probably the last of the Seekers, too.

[ Their mission was accomplished, after all. This is a good thing. Fewer people skulking around the same places the Divine Defense Force likes to investigate. ]

I don't know about that. They'll probably be around even if they're not using their human forms anymore. There's still at least two gods out there who are...well, maybe they're not being controlled by humans, but they're still having a disagreement with the other gods.

[ Haruka nods. ] We'll find them.

[ Both a vow to stop the Elite Four and a passive-aggressive jab at the whole "seeking" thing. Still, they'd freed the Seekers' "friends". That's...progress.
