[11th Station - Airing Things Out]
[Union - Various Areas; OTA]
You may be visiting the local markets for some food and supplies. You could be heading off to work in the Industrial District. Or you're just strolling thru some of the nicer parts of the rebuilding Residential District. But at some point in the past several weeks, you may have noticed an odd little thing.
A very loud, odd thing.
You see, there's a Haunter and a pair of Gyarados, trying to play out some instruments similar to those played by Glacier natives. Plus, they're singing at the same time they're attempting to play. It's very loud, very rough-sounding, and quite honestly, just extremely noisy in the 'disturbance of the peace' way. And are those bottles of alcohol laying around them...?
Either way, feel free to either admire(?) their music, or try and shut them down.
[Union Divine Theater - Closed to non-Theater CR]
Maybe you're really good friends with Right. Maybe you're rather exasperated with him at times. Or maybe you're just one of those he's met a few times, and highly respect. But for whatever reason, at some point after Gigas opened its gates to Union and its allies, Right has invited you to drop by his room at the newly-rebuilt Divine Theater to discuss 'something important'. And for once, it's mostly empty of his small army of Pokemon. Really, the only ones there are the Crobat snoozing in his closet and the Herdier that's snuggled up in his lap.
He's also a little nervous. Hard not to when he's got something important to say, but doesn't want the wrong people realizing what he's doing until after it's happened. "Thanks for coming by on short notice. I really appreciate it."
((OOC: First option will have Right butting in after a few comments in each thread. Second option is where he spills the beans regarding the secret group behind the Divine Theater. All options take place over the past 4 or 5 weeks, for reference.))

Action-- Theater
Which, itself, was an oddity for Right. Idly scratching Orpheus the Foongus atop his head while the little mushroom peeked out of one of his pockets, Waver cooled his heels while looked around the room. He hadn't been inside the actual theater very often, besides a few shows out of idle curiosity, and he had certainly never been so far 'back stage' as it were.
"What's going on, anyway?" He asked, trying to make sense of this odd request. "Do you need extra bodies for a show and you couldn't find anyone more willing?"
no subject
"What I'm about to say...it can't go beyond us, okay? I mean, I trust you enough to tell you the truth, but I'd rather not have the wrong people knowing about what's really going on here."
no subject
no subject
"What...? No! Nothing like that!" If she was doing anything like that, I would've turned her in to the Swords months ago."
no subject
He waved a hand as he spoke, and Orpheus chirped up: "He knows you're not as clueless as you pretend to be."
Oblivious to Orpheus' words, Waver just looked around for a place to sit. Instinct told him that this could be a long winded conversation, and he didn't want to be standing the whole time.
"If it's 'something important' and we're in the theater, I'm pretty sure that it's nothing that could make trouble for people in Union. Just be yourself, okay?"
no subject
Once he does so, Right begins. "To be honest, I would've told you earlier once I realized that we became friends. I mean, friends aren't supposed to keep big secrets from each other, you know? But even though I promised Haruka to keep quiet... I don't think it's wise to keep our friends and family out of the loop anymore."
no subject
As annoyed as the Magus became at Right, he knew that Right was no idiot. No one would be if they spent so much time getting into all of the events happening around Union.
"So, Haruka Tenoh is involved," he said, leaning forward in interest. It was clear that he took no offense about whatever secret was being kept-- after all, secrets were the lifeblood of any Magus. He could respect that.
"That makes sense, if it involves the theater. And...thanks for thinking so highly of me."
He folded his hands tightly, knowing full well that he wasn't the easiest person in Union for anyone to call a friend.
"...what's been going on?"

Wagon nuzzles her human's arm in a reassuring manner. He pets her head in thanks as he takes a deep breath.
"The Divine Theater is just our day job. Our real work is behind the scenes, so to speak. That's where we really excel - finding everything we know about the Gods, and try and keep the Savior's Peace between Gods and mortals. That's why we've been so active in a lot of stuff lately - it's part of our job. It's all to help prevent another Great Cataclysm."
no subject
And ask the questions that only an Academic would.
"Those legends are over 500 years old," he intoned mildly. "I don't doubt that they happened, from the stories Yuuna's told me, but what makes you so sure that there's even going to be another Cataclysm?"
no subject
"And if they realize that Gigas is keeping four of their own beneath their city, under their command..."
no subject
"And the last incident was because that God was being subjugated by a human with ill intentions. I don't think the ones who favor us will turn their backs if we don't make a move, that doesn't mean we should leave the Gigases where they're at."
The being Waver had met was sentient, and was very weary. It had been a long battle for Regigigas, but he still fought the Emperor's control until the little party of academics had fled. That act alone spoke volumes of the captive God-- and Waver knew he wouldn't be able to sleep well at night if he did nothing about it.
"That said, I don't necessarily think there will be another Cataclysm, Right. Unless you've got more details, I'm thinking we ought to take the situations as they come and see what happens."
no subject
Right pauses for a few moments. "It's the other gods who are disagreeing with them. About us. And I--we are afraid of a war between Gods that could tear the world apart. It's kind of our job to make sure that nothing that bad happens. I mean, we're not called the Divine Defense Force for nothing."
He pauses. "...Oh, I should've told you about that first, huh?" he adds with a sheepish grin.
no subject
And there was no doubt that there was some manner of disagreement amongst the Gods, not including the clear problem that was presented by Ever Grande's Elite Four.
"...How many people are involved?" Waver asked in measured tones, and he leaned back in his chair to await Right's reply.
no subject
Yes, he's counting the Pokemon as well. Not that it should be that surprising, coming from Right.
"Most of us are part of the theater, though I think some of the others' Pokemon are just off doing their own thing," he adds with a shrug. "But all of us have a duty to try and keep the peace between the Gods and us mortals. So far it's working."
A beat.
"...at least, with those who are with us."
no subject
He was busy doing the math in his brain when Orpheus chittered animatedly: "So that's why that doll always acts so self-important and can't be bothered with regular guys!"
Referring, of course, to his unrequited feelings of affection for Passion the Ninetails.
