[Feliks appears on the Warp Band feed all wrapped up in blankets and propped up against some pillows, his left arm in a heavy cast, bandages peeking out from underneath his nightshirt. There's still visible bruising on him even now, and several of his more protective Pokemon are curled up with him -- a Growlithe with his head in Feliks's lap, a Houndoom at his feet, a Dragonair twined around the headboard, a Pangoro looming nearby as if to ward off any further threats to his trainer...]

Alright, Union. So I've kinda been thinking, right?

[He grins, and it's clear that whatever damage that god did to him, his sass remains 100% intact.]

So as you might or might not know, my grandparents got a little stuck with just me for an heir, and like, before anyone gets worried, they're totes fine -- the house is gonna need some renovations like whoa, like the ballroom and the library are super totaled, but they're not hurt or anything!

But they're kinda not getting any younger. Stuff has been getting pretty crazy around here, and like, who knows how long they're gonna be able to keep keeping up like they have, right?

So... [He takes a deep breath, and the Dragonair leans over to nuzzle him encouragingly. He pets her little wing-ear-thing, gathers himself a moment longer, and continues:]

So, I guess what I'm saying is like... I'm stepping up as the head of our house. Let the old folks enjoy their golden years and junk. Plus, someone's gotta give the Council a kick in the butt now and then!

Okay, now on to the really important stuff, though -- who saw me Mega Evolve back there? Like, how rad was that?

From the things I've heard, these old Pidgey have become remarkably fat and lazy. The exercise can only be good for them. [ 'And if they die from the strain, then perhaps that's fine too...' Even Magnolia knows when not to say some things. ]

I? Here and there. I haven't been to a city this large in about...hm, let's say at least 30 years.

[ He's shaving off a decade at least, but there's no point in saying it if it's irrelevant. ]

And I mean, I see them and all! I guess I just don't talk to them that much?

Well, worry not. I'm rather less dusty than the rest of them - so much time outside and traveling will do that to you. I'll try my very best not to bore you with my crumbly old-person ways.

And traveling and stuff doesn't sound too boring! I do kind of a lot of that, too.

Really, now? Well met, then, as a fellow traveler! The wide world holds such allure - I couldn't keep myself away from it for quite a long time. Cities are just so crowded and noisy, but I suppose I'll have to get used to it all as long as I'm here.

Yeah, it's like, way quieter out there. There's more space to, I don't know. Spread out, and make noise, and explore!

I suppose if you wanted to make noise, you could go to a canyon. Your voice will echo across the land, further and further... I don't find it personally in my best interests to be loud.

But to each their own! Exploration grants the opportunity to learn more about the land, and those who live off it. There's always something new to be grasped.

What do you like most about exploring?

That sounds rad, and I'm totally gonna try it when I can walk anywhere without someone teleporting me back into bed.

[Offscreen, a Gardevoir makes a sound rather clearly indicating a complete and utter lack of repentance, and Feliks takes a moment to pout at her before continuing.]

What do I like... Well, like, Union was closed until two years ago, right? But ever since we've opened up the gates, I keep seeing more and more new things! Like, other cities, Pokemon I've never seen before, all these gorgeous places that were just right outside waiting... There's so much out there to find, and no one there to drag you down with boring social stuff or rules that don't make sense!
