[ When the warp band flickers to life, the image is held steady, revealing a rather serious-looking young woman with silvery hair and dark blue eyes. Though her shoulders are bare, the rest of her body is clad in plate mail, with feathers shaped to form wings on either side of her face. A bright blue swablu is perched on her left shoulder, still puffy with the fluff of the recently hatched.

Her lips press into a thin line, before she takes a breath to address her viewers. ]

I am Gwendolyn of the Ragnanival Tribe. I have been sent here to represent them in Union on behalf of the Citadel, and offer our strength in battle if Union would have use of it. It is the least we can offer, after the aid your people gave us.

[she shifts very slightly, looking momentarily uncomfortable] I have also brought a gift on behalf of my tribe, some arms and armor that may be of interest to those among you who are warriors. Our craftsmen are noted for the fine quality of their blades.

I am also told there are other Valkyrie present within the city. I would be grateful if I could be directed to them.

I see. I hope that your visit to the shrine went well, and that the New Year's blessings were bestowed upon you.

The weather was fair enough for our journey here. Cold, but not as harsh as on the northern border. And we had the blessing of the wind at our backs for the entire journey.

It helps that the weather here is far milder than back home. I've also been told that the season does not last as long. [Lucky Unionites!]

The lodgings we have been granted are quite suitable, yes. My wing are taking their ease now that we have stowed our items.

Union still gets a lot of snow, I was really surprised when I came here. I didn't think they got any at all. The spring and fall are really pretty, though. The Verdant Forest turns all kinds of colors.

Oh, are you staying at an inn then? You haven't found anything permanent yet? [ She remembers how hard that was. She may have been living in the habitat for a bit, eheh... ]

So you have been here for a full cycle of the seasons? [a beat] That sounds so very strange..But no doubt I will have the opportunity to see this for myself.

No. We have been granted temporary use of barracks by the guardsmen here, until we find a suitable place to call our own. We do not intend to overstay our welcome. Though they do not barter here as we do at home..

In Union? Yeah. The summer is a lot of fun too, because it gets really warm. There are festivals for the seasons too.

[ Sanae frowns a bit. ]

Finding somewhere to live can be a little hard. I was lucky because Takuto offered me a place to stay, but I was living at the habitat until then.

It sounds like your time here has been very eventful, with so many things to do each season! [It would be interesting to see how different it was compared to what Gwendolyn is used to - it all honestly sounds amazing!]

I see.. We would not wish to impose where the residents reside. Once we have fully rested, I will speak with someone regarding appropriate accommodations.

She joined a theater group, oh, but that theater group is actually a group of hero vigilantes who fight to protect others! And she's fought with and alongside the Gods! ]

Nobody here'll think you're imposing. The people here in Union are really kind and nice, and they like to help others. I'm sure if you tell someone that you're looking for a place to stay or looking for work, they'll be happy to help.
