A little bit of both, really. We can't stay permanently, but Union might make a better base of operations than Caldera, for traveling to other cities. We're testing the waters.

You want something sturdy. Pretty boots are great, don't get me wrong. But if you plan to travel much, you want something tough. Thick leather and lots of cushioning, so they don't fall apart and you don't get a blister.
