[For a moment or two, Fuuka didn't know what to say back. While people might hear the sound of her Espurr and Aerodactyl encouraging her, there was only dead silence on her end. As each second passed, she was starting to have second thought about asking people about this...problem.

But then again, it wasn't like she had much of a choice right? Despite that, there was only silence on her end.

...However, it also didn't take her that long either before she finally spoke up]

Um...excuse me, I hope it's not too much trouble. But is it possible for me to stay with someone for a little while? At least until I manage to find a place of my own.

I promise that I won't be much trouble and while I might not have a lot of money to pay you, I am an engineer! If there's anything you need, just feel free to ask!

[...] But um...if there's a place I can stay. Just...let me know?

She's right. She doesn't need you, if you're going to act like this.

[Yukiko holds on tight, and she turns to plant a quick kiss against Fuuka's cheek. Bold? Yes. But she had to stay with Fuuka, and she was committed.]

Dear, let's go. Let her stew. Just like Reshiram.

[And she picked up Fuuka's bag with a coil of vines that sprouted from her wrist and started to walk.

/mic drop.]

[Without another word, Fuuka was about to simply follow Yukiko. As she gave a quick nod to her parents, that's when one of them grabbed her wrist. At this point, that's when she started to look at them with fear.

Was...was something going to happen? She was going to be okay right?

Listen, if you do this, you're going to regret this for the rest of your life. Who are you going to listen to? Your parents who have raised you all their life or this...girl that who just walked like here like she's nothing?!]

[That made Yukiko's lip curl up into a scowl as she faced whoever it was.]

Mister and Missus Yamagishi, I'll have you know that your daughter stood up to a god not even two months ago. Another god, Suicune, relied on her help and she saved our lives, and the lives of everyone in Glacier.

[There's a pause.]

I love her, and it breaks my heart that you seem hellbent on making her do what you want. If she wants to be a trainer who are you to stop her? She has a gift, and she shouldn't squander it. Think about what's more important. Protecting the entire world with a blessing from the gods, or becoming a doctor because you want her to?

[And with that, she tugs Fuuka free of their grasp and looks her square in the face.]

And there, I said it. I love you. Shall we go, until they come to their senses?

PRASE TEH SUN!11!!

[With those words, both of their parents simply made a gasp at how...forward Yukiko was. So much so, they didn't seem to notice that Fuuka was out of her mother's grasp! Once she was free, the other had to say something.

It was now or never. With a deep breath, she simply nodded]

Mother, father, please listen. What Yukiko said is true, I have fought against a God and Suicune told me that I was needed to help them out. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was needed! Not wanted! You have no idea how wonderful that made me feel.

[As she held her grip around Yukiko, she continued]

...And I love Yukiko. I love her more than anything so if you're going to take that away from me? T-Then...then I don't want you in my life!

[And being as dramatic as her girlfriend, she just gave a nod and didn't look back. As she marched out the door, it looked as if she wanted to cry once more]

[Vines trailing behind her, Yukiko led the way downstairs and out the front door. Bereth squawked awkwardly as he hopped down from the roof, and Yukiko beamed at Fuuka.]

Now, shall we go home? They'll come around in time, just...for now? Let's make the best of the seeds we've got, hmm?

[And if she'll have it, Yukiko will pick her up and set her on Bereth with those same vines.]

[In that moment, Fuuka just couldn't believe it. She was so much in a daze, she didn't even seem to be aware of her surroundings. One moment she was in her room fighting with her parents and now?

Here she was, just sitting on Bereth letting everything just sink in...]

I-I did it. I can't believe it but...I did it. I finally stood up to my parents. After all these years, I thought I would never get a chance to! But I just...can't believe it!

You did. You were amazing.

[Yukiko, sitting behind her partner, leans against her and holds on tight.]

I'm so proud of you. Really, you're just...you were on fire!

Well, that's because I have to you with me!

[Fuuka giggled before holding onto Yukiko equally tight.]

Without you, I don't think I would have been able to do that! It's an amazing feeling to know that I could stand up to them! I don't think I ever felt this free!

Well. Don't give me all the credit. I think you were doing just fine on your own.

[Bereth banks towards their place...]

But you are free. They'll come around when they realize they made a mistake. But you'll always have your freedom. Just like...well...like how I did it.

Yes but you were still with me! I think it's different if you weren't!

[Fuuka gave a giggle]

That's true now though. No matter what they say, they still can't do what they wish to me anymore! But I'm kind of excited and especially what the future may hold for the both us.

Good things, I'm sure.

[Landing on the roof of the apartment complex, Yukiko slides off and gallantly offers a hand down for Fuuka.]

Shall we? I've got to get the couch ready for myself tonight, and it's getting late.

[As she walked on the roof, she gave Yukiko a warm smile before taking the first couple of steps toward the door]

Well, are you sure? I can always just sleep on the couch if you want! I really don't mind, I'm just happy that I can stay with you!

You need a bed.

[She opens the door and swings it open to a neat 3 room place. A bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Not large, but not tiny either.]

Your condition, of course. And unless you want to sh-share...

[The thought makes her blush, just a little bit...and she stops mid sentence]

[And here, Fuuka could just only stare and be impressed! To think, Yukiko had been living in such a luxarious (well by Fuuka's standard anyway!) apartment!

Of course, with those words?]

A-Ah, goodness, that's not...! Not that's not what I meant! I meant you should take the bed but um...

[Mumble mumble] B-But...do you want to...?

I mean...we...could.

[Yukiko, the epitome of elegance.]

It...might be nice...and we'll be warmer that way...and it...

[Breathe, girl. Breathe!]

If you want to, then why not? We're together. And we're free.

[With Fuuka's face turning a bright red, she stared at her girlfriend with big wide eyes!]

A-Ah...I...I suppose we would be warmer. And especially with how it's so close to Salvation and um...

[Mumble mumble mumble.]

But I don't mind. I think it be kind of nice to be able to do that. And especially with no parents telling me what to do!

[Yukiko nods a little slow, and leans against Fuuka with a little smile.]

Then it's settled. We'll...share the bed...

[That just sounds really, really naughty too.]

[Which was all the more reason why Fuuka couldn't stop giggling!]

Then shall we get ready? I think we definitely had a long day and...we could probably get some rest!

[Nope, can't stop giggling even with Yukiko leaning closer!]

I can think of nothing I'd like more.

[She kisses her girlfriend lightly on the cheek then.]

And you know? I'm glad I finally said it.

With us staying in the same bed?

[In return, Fuuka hugged Yukiko before giving a kiss on the forehead]

But I agree, I’m glad you said it too. I think we’re going to have the best Salvation Day ever right?

I think so too.

[The kiss on the forehead was returned on the lips.]

I love you, Fuuka.

[In which Fuuka couldn't help but giggle]

And I love you too, Yukiko. Um shall we go to the room now or...?

I don't see why not. It's been a long day, so lets get changed and ready for bed.

[And...off they go!]
