Hey guys, Rise here.

[She's broadcasting from Union Divine Theater's stage this time, thankfully in a tasteful sweater outfit rather than her Cresselia costume. One of her Pokémon is playing cameraman - probably Toyo, since it's actually being held steady and not wandering off.]

It's been a really busy year. Like, insanely, especially the last couple of months. I've had...well, my friends on here know part of why I originally left the radio business is because I was getting overwhelmed by it, and for the first time I was starting to get overwhelmed with trying to help out Union, too.

[She takes a deep breath, but keeps smiling.]

But you know, I don't think I can quit that. Or my acting job here. And...well, I had a whole big speech about myself that I fortunately wrote down and edited and figured out that everyone who knows me well enough to care already figured out. But the real point I was going for was a message I wanted to give everybody as a present for Salvation and the new year:

No matter how overwhelming things get, no matter how you stumble or what setbacks you have, you can pick yourself back up again and keep going. And if you can't, you've got friends who can help you. And if you don't think you have friends, just look around - to fellow humans, Pokémon, anybody. We're all in life's journey together, and we can all help each other forward on it.

[Her smile breaks into a grin, and she winks.]

Trust me, it's a true story, okay? Thanks.

[ Haruka is doing the Haruka thing and hanging out in the common area of the dorms when Rise makes her broadcast. She doesn't move, or send a response, but she does switch off the Warp Band and drop it on the nearest table. Then she picks up a book.

She will still be there when next Rise walks past, and though she won't make eye contact, she will watch Rise's every move over the top of that book. Just in case Rise was sensitive to Haruka's presence right now for some reason. Or something. ]

[Technically speaking, Rise's vaguely aware of where everyone in the building is, although it's not conscious knowledge unless she concentrates on it.]

[She might be wandering past Haruka on purpose, though. And glancing at the rather conspicuous switched-off Warp Band. Well, she should probably make sure.]

Hey, Haruka.

[ ....well, Michiru will be happy to hear they had This Conversation. Haruka flips a page in her book. ] We're a secret organization. Don't forget that.

[ Too many big important speeches about real-world topics and people might start wondering what's up with the theater. Says the person who actually got her bluff called once. ]

Hey, I'm a bleeding heart celebrity with a big mouth who's on record for yelling at gods, regardless of why I'm doing it.

[She smiles a little ruefully.]

Really, I think the main difference between us and almost everyone else who goes out and fights is that we've got a specific objective, so that's good for staying secret...

[ Yeah, yeah. Haruka closes her book (a useful prop for dramatic effect). Okay. Getting this over with.

She doesn't quite sound angry, but she's definitely using her refusing-to-show-her-emotions voice. ] What would you do if I refused to take you back?

I can see why you're such a good performer, you've seriously got a great stage presence even over the Warp Bands.

Ah, thanks, Yosuke! Actually, to tell you the truth, I've been thinking about the possibilities for these things a lot. There's a lot of stuff you can put into live shows that doesn't work over the radio, but would on like a Warp Band show.

For real? Like, are you going to make your own show sometime? What's gunna be in it? C'mon, you've gotta give me the inside scoop here!

...nah, not really, more like I haven't planned much of it yet. I've got a lot more practice as talent than a producer.

Well, I can certainly study the components of a good speech, and how to write one, but I cannot guarantee any success, speeches has always been more of Usagi-chan's specialty. She gives wonderful speeches.

You know, I've met Rei briefly, and I think Minako's a mutual friend too, but I'm not sure if I've ever met Usagi.
