POKÉMINGLE: NOVEMBER EDITION

[ The late autumn was a slow time for the breeding center in Union, with most Pokémon preferring to start their families in the early spring months, as plants were beginning to bloom. However, this November had been an unusual month indeed, and a sudden influx of eggs meant that things were bound to be busy--and loud.

While the medical center claimed that they would do their best to step in and assist, what this really meant was that Farah, one of their senior-most nurses and former nanny, was left to bear the brunt of the work. There was only so much that the pint-sized Blissey shifter could handle, and while a dozen Pokéchildren weren't too bad in the grand scheme of things, a few dozen, well...

She needed help.

Posters littered the signposts around town. The breeding center was looking for Pokémon caretakers while these newborn bundles of joy were placed into loving homes. Would anyone be up for the challenge? ]]

[Babysitting! Can't be as bad as trying to help look after that baby Togepi around the Divine Theater, right? Or so Usopp the Tranquill presumes. He attempts to gather some babies around him in order to tel them all about his grand adventures as a brave Flying warrior!

...only some of his tales are totally made-up. And those few stories that were true are greatly embellished. Perhaps someone's willing to call him out on it?


Meanwhile, Winnie-Pooh the Teddiursa is with Right's Sealeo as they play a game of "Toss the Ball" with a few other babies. They start with a regular ball, and all goes well until the Sealeo accidentally tosses it far out of their reach.

Winnie-Pooh sighs.] Oh, bother...I do hope that it doesn't hit anyone.

Careful!

[A voice calls out as a Dragonite reaches a hand up, catching the ball, and it attracted the attention of a Growlithe, hopping up and down on his hindlegs like a Spoink]

BALL! BALL! GIVE! BADR! THROW IT! THROOOOOOOW IT!

Furfur, it's not ours, we should give it back.

[lunchleader]

Ah, there it is! Thank you for finding it for us. [Winnie-Pooh pads up to them, one Honeyed paw near his mouth.] Would you be so kind as to hand it back to us?

Oh, c'mon, Pooh! Let's just use another ball...like this one! [The Sealeo calls out, forming an Ice Ball to hold up with his flippers. However, the only other Pokemon around them are tiny little hatchlings who could easily be bowled over by such a large ball of pure ice.]

Of course, here you - Oh! careful! that might be too big for the hatchlings!

[The dragonite calls out as he offers the ball back, as Furfur weaves between his legs]
