[ He'd never been in these woods before. Honestly, that should have made him more wary about everything - the few pokemon he's seen are new, there seems to be a bunch of really weird mountain-things in the center of it...

But here he is, swapped back to being a human, to poke about in the woods. He hasn't used his legs in a while, he felt the need to.

It doesn't stop Moon from jumping at every little sound, though. ]

Action

[ Well. This is all terribly exciting.

Moon wanders the streets, wide-eyed and staring at ... just about everything. All the people get looked at for a while, all the shops get curiously poked through - well, so long as no one yells at him for being barefoot. Or chases him out for his rather worn looking clothing, or takes his slight jumpiness as indication he's up to no good. ]

... So many people.

[ The human doesn't seem to be a shifter, which is the main reason he can think that they wouldn't. Mist didn't have that many full humans, if he could think of any at all- ]

[ He shuffles a little bit, settling on the ground with his wings tucked about him. ]

I know some pokemon get along fine with pokemon who can be humans, but the place I knew like that has been gone for a while. ... And you don't seem to be a shifter.

[If you pay good attention, you might see his face darkening a bit]

"The place"? Where'd you come from?

Mist, five years ago. Before that, all I know is they're dead.

[ He doesn't know, sorry. ]

Mist? Never heard of the place. [Ah, well, can't be helped. You seem pretty harmless either way, and five years ago is too long for what he's interested in... best to just keep his eyes peeled]

[ You know how wild pokemon are with humans? Yeah. He does too.

But that seems to be a comment on how weird it is to talk to a small bat. ]

... so where d'you live now if that Mist place was destroyed?

[His words are still dumb, but his tone softened. He knows what it's like to lose people]

Uh. ... Anywhere with shelter?

[ His clothing looks as threadbare as it does for a reason. Just crossing his legs now. ]

And before I found Mist. I was only there for.. five or so years.

[Okay, his respect for you rises not that it was too high in the first place.

But hell, no one should have to spend years in the forest]

... you gonna freak out at a place full of humans, or d'you want to try out a new place?

Thousands? Plus some pokemon. And then people like me, and people like you.

[ Okay he just sits here staring for a moment. Thousands? How high is that number? guess who needs an education

Focus on the second thing. ]

... Do you mean- ah, humans who get along with pokemon, when you mean "like me". [ Not Like-Moon, like... whoever you are, friend of the small fairy. ]

I meant people who can switch forms. I've met a couple. And then people like me... we're not shifters, but there's still a bit of pokemon in us.

Almost everybody gets along with pokemon though. Or with the ones living with us, at least. [Wild ones are... a different story]

[ He frowns a bit, and scratches the side of his head. ]

The leaders have a stick stuck up their ass, but hey, it's food and shelter. You could probably find some work, too--there's bund to be lots of stuff a flying shifteer can do.

All in all, it's not a bad place.

And those are really the most important.

[ Is there food near shelter? Yes? then it is a good place.

He thinks for a little bit, staring at his toes. ]

I'm not good at names. I figure, if they find one they want, they can always tell me. Better than sticking them with a shitty nickname.
