Event - The White Dragon

[The Warp Band feed opens with the Matriarch’s impassive face looking slightly haggard]

Union, I have a problem and am in need of assistance. About two hours ago refugees just started streaming into the Citadel territory. They say they’re from a city called “Glacier” that is being ripped apart by a giant white Dragon god. Sounds like it’s something up your alley. I’m sending them your way, we should probably go take care of that before it makes it over here. If you guys want to help out, I’ll lend you some of our birds. My Valkyries are already heading over, I’m sending a few flights out to the other cities as well to see if they want to join the party. Let me know what you decide.

Oh, the refugee leader is a fellow named Birgir. I gave him a Warp Band so he can probably tell you more about the situation.

[ Haruka just chuckles. "Yukiko", huh.... ]

We're here. [ It's a Berry mart. ]

The...Berry Mart? Oh dear, I thought it was going to be something more dramatic?

Your friend's been very patient. [ A grin at the Espurr. ] Doesn't she deserve a treat?

[ Plus Haruka needs a lot of things that can heal Burns. But sssh. ]

[Fuuka can't argue with that! As she and her Espurr got off, her Pokemon gave a giggle before making her way closer to the store!]

I don't see why not and especially after all that training she's been through! Although, I wonder why you seen to keep it a secret though!

I couldn't help but wonder where we were going!

[ Haruka grins: Fuuka just answered her own question. She lets Broken Möbius out of the Rotomcycle to stretch his, uh.....to fly around for a while before repossessing the Engine Core. He chitters and vanishes into the shop, a stern mental warning not to cause trouble following him.

Here, Fuuka. You (and Espurr, lovely lady that she too is) get the door held open for you. ] What kind of training?

[With that, the girl giggled to herself. As they walked inside, she couldn't help but wonder why she had to be so secretive about it. But until then?]

Well, my Espurr and I have been looking around to see if there were anymore Pokemon we should get. We got a friend and I thought it would be nice to have some more with us!

Although, my Aerodactyl has been getting a lot of training too just by looking around for some more Pokemon!

The more the merrier, huh. [ For years it'd just been Haruka and World Shaking. And now she has a theater full of Pokémon.

This is a slippery slope Fuuka's descending, but somehow Haruka doubts the other girl will mind. ]

I suppose so. It's kind of funny, I never really thought about getting another Pokemon until Yukiko said it would be good for the both of us!

[That and she more or less made a deal with her parents...]

But then again, there have been a lot of bickering as well! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not!

[ Haruka has begun perusing the wares, examining each individual Berry to pick the ones in the best condition. ] That might be destiny.

[ This one's good. This one, not so much. One goes in a small bag, the other back to the shelf. ] As long as there's two people, there'll be two opinions. Disagreement's inevitable.

Destiny? Well, I guess so, opinions are bound to have disagreements but I never so much thought about it as destiny. More like two people just not getting along?

[With that, the girl just stared at Haruka before looking at each berry she picked]

...But do you need some help though? It looks like you might...?

[ Haruka chuckles. Conscientious, isn't she. It's cute. ] Do you need a bag?

[ They have them over here... ]

Ah...I think so!

[She said before looking around for said bag. Once she does, she immediately grabs two before handing one to Haruka]

Here you go! I think that should be enough for the both of us! But I think our Pokemon would be stuffed with berries before we can fill them up!

[ Haruka smirks. She then picks up a Sitrus Berry and tosses it.

It lands in Fuuka's bag without even brushing the rims. ] On me.

[As Fuuka got said berry, the girl just stared at Haruka before looking down at the bag.

Whatever just happened, the girl just stared in awe having no idea what to say back!] Um....thank you? But should I get you something in return?

[ Haruka waves a careless hand, already moving on to the next few shelves. ] It's for the pleasure of your company.

[Fuuka's been hit by, she's been struck by, a smooth crimina- okay no.]

Uh...i-if you say so? Goodness, you must be really good at this. It seems like you do berry picking a lot of time if you're able to do that!

What tastes do yours like? [ Haruka wasn't aware Berry Picking was a skill. But one could never tell from her demeanor. ]

Oh uh...

[Huh, now that's a question Fuuka wasn't expecting! As she thought about it, she hummed to herself]

I guess Sitrus? Although, I think my Espurr would like just about berry. But I never really ask before!

[ Fair enough. Haruka asks the question again, this time to the Pokémon in question. ] How about it?

[As the Espurr continued to look through all the berries around her, it was so tempting to just eat one! But alas, she couldn't! Oh what a terrible fate she must face! Now she has to suffer!

So when she heard Haruka? Of course she was nodding! She'll just about any berry at this point! The wait was killing her!]

[ A flick of Haruka's wrist, and an Aspear Berry flies up into the air. Her palm is waiting for it as it drops, then she's handing it over to the cat Pokémon. ] Don't make a mess, now.

[The cat wasn't going to wait any longer! As she took a huge bite out of said berry, all Fuuka could do was laugh!]

You know, Haruka? I hope you don't mind me being blunt but you seem like uh...rather cool person? Or however you would say it? Someone who is really cool at something??

[Awkward social skills are go]

[ Haruka chuckles. She's not about to rub it in, but she's also not about to deny it. She knows who she is, and she likes that person. If that's what it takes to be "cool", then she's cool. ] Were you expecting something different?

[ Friendly, not accusatory. ]

[With that, the girl just quickly shook her head]

No. not really? I just don't think I ever met someone quite like yourself before! Well, not someone who would be this cool? And act like it's nothing or something?

[Oh if she would only do the same]
