Event - The White Dragon
[The Warp Band feed opens with the Matriarch’s impassive face looking slightly haggard]
Union, I have a problem and am in need of assistance. About two hours ago refugees just started streaming into the Citadel territory. They say they’re from a city called “Glacier” that is being ripped apart by a giant white Dragon god. Sounds like it’s something up your alley. I’m sending them your way, we should probably go take care of that before it makes it over here. If you guys want to help out, I’ll lend you some of our birds. My Valkyries are already heading over, I’m sending a few flights out to the other cities as well to see if they want to join the party. Let me know what you decide.
Oh, the refugee leader is a fellow named Birgir. I gave him a Warp Band so he can probably tell you more about the situation.
(OOC: Questions to the Matriarch and Birgir can be asked here, and general reactions can also be posted here.)

About twenty of them, by my observations. They don't wear furs like we do, but woven fabrics.
no subject
Any idea where they came from?
no subject
[ A beat. ]
Can I ask you a question? What do you mean by a "god" exactly?
no subject
You...you've never heard of them before? Seriously? They're...
[He pauses for a moment. How does one describe the Gods to someone who claims to not know them?]
Well, they look like high-level Pokemon, except they're even stronger than that. They can come in many different types, and they speak like humans do, even though they're not Shifters. And all the other Pokemon recognize them as, like, the Great Immortal Lords and all that. They can't be killed, and they tend to use powers that no one else can do, either by Pokemon or Enlightened - Earthkin.
[That last word is added on, since Right remembers that some other places use that term to describe Enlightened. Maybe this guy's from one of those places...?]
...they also don't normally show up with other humans. Other Pokemon, yeah, but not humans.

In any case, I see no need for lofty terms of reverence. The white dragon is a pokemon, and a fearsome one at that.

Still, even if it doesn't speak any human tongue, I'll still be able to understand it, being Kindred and all.
[Right's Tepig suddenly nudges his human's arm, snorting an inquiry.]
Wha--Oh, yeah; that's a good question. [Right then looks back up at the feed.] Momotaros here wants to know which direction those guys game from, since you said that they weren't from your home region. It might be important.

[ This gets another strange look from Birgir, but he quickly shrugs it off. ]
They came from the south and the east, and struck very suddenly. We did not have a chance to sound the alarm before they were on us.
no subject
South and east...I assume your home's north of Citadel?
no subject
[ A grunt of acknowledgement. ]
North and east, a few days hard flight from Citadel.
no subject
We'll help save your home. And try and get this white dragon to not attack any human homes ever again.
