Ninth Station - Beware of Flash Floods [Action, Union]

[Good afternoon, Union! It's a nice, sunny day, and it feels like the heat of the summer is finally starting to fade. Perfect weather to be outside and doing things, isn't it? However, if you're anywhere around the Residential District, you may hear a certain voice speaking some ways from you:]

...not like that! You gotta put some effort into it, like...like you're actually doing the move. Like...oh! Like this! *clears throat* "Hark, fiend! Thou wilst taste the wrath of Justice! Behold! The almighty power of...Metronome!!"

[Hope you have a water type to summon, because there's a sudden wave of water a la Surf suddenly heading your way. Surf's up, dude?]

[The Tepig tries to brush him off, but it's hard to do so when one is flailing and gargling sudden water. So after a moment, he finally flails close enough for Sinbad to grab one of his front legs.]

[He smiles reassuringly as he firmly, but gently goes to pull the pokemon up onto his impromptu surfboard]

I got you! I'm not going to drop you back in, all right?

[lunchleader]

[Grunting his weary thanks, the Tepig just flops down for a few moments, trying to catch his breath in-between coughing up some water.

Thankfully for all involved, the waters do recede after a few moments, leaving them standing on top of their make-shift surfer board in the middle of the street.]

[While waiting for the waters to recede, he starts rubbing the Tepig's back to help it cough up water. Once everything calms down, he starts to stand and picked up the fish bowl with the angry magikarp splashing around]

What's with you, leaving me like that! I almost drowned!

You can't drown.

[With that, he turns to the Tepig]

Where does your human live, I bet they're pretty worried right now.

[lunchleader]

[The Tepig coughed up some more water, but not much. Much of it has already evaporated, thanks to its high body temp as a Fire-type. Upon hearing that question, however, it draws out some fiery complaint.]

My human?! That idiot is the reason why I nearly drowned!

All right. Guess we'll have having a talk with them - I don't mind the water, but I can't imagine too many people are happy about it. I'd be pretty angry if I was carrying something perishable.

And make him apologize, I was certain I was going perish! I am a perishable thing Sinbad!

[And speaking of the Tepig's owner, there should be a semi-familiar voice approaching their location.]

...taros~ Where are you, Momotaros?!

Guess that's your human.

[Sounds like the guy he met during the trip to the Sanctuary]

Hey! You, are you looking for a Tepig?

[And sure enough, Right rushes into view, looking quite concerned and a little relieved.]

Sinbad! Oh, thanks Gods, you found him! Is he okay?
