[From all the laughing going on behind him, one may guess that Jade is at a party. Unfortunately, that isn't the case.]

For those unaware, we've come across some strange stones while searching for the mine and delivered them to the labs for analysis. It's been a hectic week, so we haven't received the results until now, but it seems like we've found quite a large variety of evolution stones. If you're in need of one, I'd suggest you hurry to the labs, before the greedier members of our expedition snatch all of them.

[Honestly, he'd rather keep them for himself (and maybe the Rangers), but his superiors insisted on distributing them. Something about a token of gratitude.]

[And now, a public voice post to everyone, which may be somewhat hard to decipher as the laughing in the background grows steadily louder.]

Does anyone have any experience with persuading unwanted Pokemon to leave your homes? Normally, I'd simply dispose of- [Ah. That could be construed in a negative light.] - that is, dispose of them if necessary, although generally I prefer to drive them out. But it seems Duskull has taken quite a liking to his new friends and I'd rather not harm them.

[There's a loud crash behind him. Jade sighs.] Although I'm beginning to reconsider.

Action:

[Late evening finds Jade heading down to the newly-discovered Mausoleum, Sandshrew trotting along beside him and Duskull swooping around cheerfully over his head. He tries to avoid anyone exploring down there, mostly because he guesses most people wouldn't approve of what he's doing. Which would be trying to pry open the vaults and take a peek at the coffins.]

[He has reasons for doing so. Honest.]

She keeps up, I'll give her that much.

[And okay boots on, sword grabbed-]

I'm my way. Try not to lose your head in the meantime, hm?

I doubt my sanity will hold for much longer.

[Before she arrives, though, he's quickly going around his apartment to make sure no illicit documents are where they shouldn't be. He'll even duck into the Ghost-infested study to check. Good thing they're locked away in cabinets even the mischievous Pokemon can't get into.]

How terrible to hear.

[But she cuts off the feed there so she can get moving. When she arrives, she's none the wiser that Jade might be hiding things. Teresa really wasn't one to take part in the rumor mill of the outpost, nor was she one to get invested in the lives of her comrades. Offering to help out with current predicaments with simple solutions was honestly the most investment she showed them.]

[And so, when she knocks on his door, even if he's slow to answer she doesn't think twice on it]

[Fortunately, his apartment is far enough away that he's finished checking everything by the time Teresa arrives. Sandshrew is with him when he opens the door, greeting Teresa with a smile.]

Ah, good, I was beginning to wonder if I'd have to resort to arson.

[She smiles back at the two, giving a little mock salute.]

Oh? Then that puts me much more at ease I got here before you resorted to that.

[But she'll step in]

Where are they?

[He waves for her to follow him, shutting the door once they're both in the house.]

In my study. [And he'll lead her there, opening the door to reveal Duskull and a few Misdreavus chasing each other around. The floor is a jumble of papers and fallen books.] My apologies, I'm afraid it's terribly messy.

[The same can't be said for the rest of his house. It's spotlessly clean despite the fact he doesn't spend much time here, and everything is neatly put away.]

[She raises an eyebrow at the mess compared to the rest of his clean apartment. Since really man, like she gives a damn] Oh dear, you're right. It's an absolute pig-sty.

[But she'll go into the doorway, counting the Misdreavuses off. My my it really is a party in here - but nothing she can't handle]

I do hope you got yourself earplugs.

[Tidiness and organization are v important ok]

No, I'll simply be waiting for you outside with Sandshrew. Do try not to knock yourself out.

[Uh huh. You and Levi are freaks.]

[She'll just smile. Jerk it was one time okay.]

I'll try.

[And she's shutting the door on his face]

[Having been so cruelly evicted from his own study, Jade has no choice but to retreat to the living room. And he'll sit there. And wait.]

[And try not to be anxious at the thought of Teresa being alone inside. He doesn't think she'll snoop around, and his documents are well-hidden, but what if she does discover them...?]

[Teresa is in there for a few minutes. After all, it does take a bit for the spell to have its effect]

[However, sure enough after the wait time is over- Jade can probably pick out the faint sounds of "THUD" as multiple Pokemon drop to the ground]

[Shortly after, Teresa comes out with a smile on her face]

Ah, all done. I'm afraid they did make a bit of a mess falling over like that, I hope you don't mind.

[He breaths an inward sigh of relief as he hears the thuds, and by the time Teresa steps out, he looks as relaxed as ever as he stands up.]

Oh? And here I thought it would be impossible for the room to become even more messy.

[Now comes the cleaning up - after moving the bodies first, of course. But even before that, he really ought to thank Teresa.]

Would you like to stay while I clean up? I could get you something to drink.

[Despite having worked with Teresa for so long, he's rarely seen her outside of their missions, and he's curious to see how she'll handle a more social situation.]

[There's a moment where she looks perplexed at the offer. Like she doesn't understand what Jade is asking. She does a mission, she leaves. No one asks her to stay after]

[But oh right, this wasn't a mission. This was helping out a comrade on her own time. She should probably...attempt to socialize? Though really, if it was anyone other than a senior member of the Survey Corps, she'd downright refuse]

...Alright, if you'd like.

[What an odd way to phrase it. He wonders if he's making her uncomfortable, although her expression points to confusion more than anything else.]

I would quite enjoy it.

[Now, how does playing host work again?]

Would you prefer wine or tea? Or something else, perhaps?

[It's okay Jade, it's only because she has no idea how to socialize. Only how to stab things and be badass]

Wine would be fine.

[Yes. Alcohol is always good]

[Alcohol! Jade quickly gets her a glass, and...prepares to leave.]

I'll be back soon; I better get rid of the pests now rather than later.

[It's normal to leave a guest alone right???]

[Like she knows! You know how often she does this? NEVER. ]

[So going to drink instead of offering to help! SHE DID HER PART TIME FOR WINE]

[It'll take a few minutes for Jade to boot all the Ghost Pokemon out of the front door (and maybe very close to somebody else's apartment), and put his own Duskull right under the brightest lamp in the house so it'll wake with a headache. Then he grabs some wine for himself and seats himself down across from Teresa.]

With any luck, they won't be returning.

[She all the while went to sit on his couch, quite awkwardly, as she glanced around the place and drank her wine. What a very clean place man. It's very....clean]

[She looks over at Jade when he sits down. Oh...this is a small talk portion isn't it?]

I'd hope not. Where'd you leave them?

[No, it's the subtle interrogation portion.]

Nowhere near your residence, if that's what you're concerned about.
