~First Doubts~ [Open/Action]

In the short amount of time that Ahri had been around Union, she's learned many new things but has also found many more questions. So many things she wanted to know more about and still. Was it all worthwhile? Things around here were much different than in the forest, more exciting for sure but also more complicated. Sure being a mischievous vixen has proven to be incredibly fun but there's more that she'd like to experience. But in turn that had also made her doubt her place. That wouldn't last long however as she's always been partial to let her curiosity and need to satisfy it guide her actions.

For now however, she was laying about a grassy area, looking to the vast skies along with the towering structures of the city itself. Every now and then she'd take a nibble of a snack she had pilfered from one of the nearby shops after causing a bit of havoc and having a bit of fun.

[She paused for a moment before smiling.]

And maybe some that called to my curiosity~ After all, this place has so many new fascinating things!

Uh, you might want to cut that out before you get thrown in jail.

[He looks serious.]

In the human world? We like to call that illegal.

[She blinks at him.]

Hm, so it's bad then? So how would I get those things then?

[punchesyu]

Well, first, you gotta get a job!

[He laughs.]

Honest people gotta work for a living! [He winks. She is seriously in over her head with this idea.]

Work? [Shr puts a finger to her lips and looks up in thought.]

How would I do that? And what would it be like? Where would I go? [Yeah, she has tons of questions. This was the whole purpose of her coming to live amongst humans~]

[punchesyu]

Oh boy...

[His voice trails off. He shoulda seen that one coming.]

You just look for business with "Now Hiring" or stuff like that in the window. Fill out an application, and hope they want to interview you. If you're lucky, they'll just do an interview right there when you hand it in.

Do you even know how to write...?

[She shook her head.] I've seen others do it, but I don't quite know... No. [She blushed a little feeling that it was probably something she'd need to learn... and maybe read... The few people who had read to her when she was starting to get curious about humans taught her a little so she could read basic things on her own with the books they left her, but she still didn't have a full grasp of more complicated things.]

I know a little... some humans have shown me. But I want to know more.

Well, a lot of people from the Valkryie tribes can't write either so I guess I can't really judge...

[He can, but only because he helps run a store, and was required to know how to read and write.]

This might be something you'll wanna take one step at a time. And that's a good place to start. I guess you could try hitting up the library and see if they can do something for you.

[He doesn't even know if they do stuff like that.]

[She looked at him curiously.]

I mean... if you'd want to... You've been one of the people who has sat with me the longest. [She smiled cheerily.] It'd be fun! I promise~

M-Me?

[Normally, he'd be on top of that for a pretty girl, but this is a little different...]

Uh, I'm not so sure if I'm the best teacher. I'm still sorta learning Union script myself! See, I'm not from here. I'm from Citadel, the great tree that lies to the north of here.

[Mami might kill him. He's not sure, after what Yukiko said...]

I'm sure there's someone else more qualified for the job!

Oh... well, I think you'd be fine. You're fun to be with and that usually makes learning easier and more entertaining.

[She shrugged and smiled nonethless.] Well, if you don't really wana, I won't hold it against you! [She giggled.]

I'm sure I'll be fine, I've been on my own this whole time, well, not alone, Kid's been with me for a bit now.

[punchesyu]

[He'll take the compliment, though he's not so sure what fun means to her.]

Oh, yeah.

[That reminded him of something.]

I was gunna ask, you're a trainer, right? I didn't think that happened in the wild, but you're also the first shifter I've ever met. Given the tails and ears and all.

[Ahri nodded.] But only since my arrival and acceptance here. We were buddies before... Stood by my side after I realized I could be... well, this. [She pointed at herself and bounced a bit excitedly.] It really caught me by surprise myself. I mean... I always felt like I didn't quite belong anywhere which is why I mostly kept to myself...

But once I learned, it kind of makes sense, being stuck between to worlds. Exciting though! And Kid's been with me so it made the choice easy when I decided to take on the role too.

[punchesyu]

[He can't help but look downwards at her chest when she bounces like that, but seems to catch himself and yanks his head back up.]

Well... [He searches for the words he wants as he snaps himself out of it.] I'm sure you'll have no problem fitting in here...uhhh!!! [He realizes what he's doing, and stands.]

I hope you figure everything out! I just realized... [He's making an excuse before he gets himself into trouble.] I've actually gotta go to my job soon, so I'll just be taking this guy- [He picks up the Kabuto, hefting it up and shaking it to wake him up so he doesn't fall from Yosuke's back, where he's being placed now.] Hopefully I'll see you again soon!

[The abrupt motion caught Ahri by surprise and it takes her a moment to take it all in and respond.]

Oh, well... Yeah I guess. Sorry to have kept you! I really do hope we meet again. I enjoyed our time together thoroughly!

Hope your day goes well. [She waved, along with her tails as well.]

Bye Yo-Su-Ke~ [She winked and blew a kiss]

This girl is seriously cute...I gotta get outta here before I do something I'll regret-! [He mutters to himself, not wanting to do anything with her, but having trouble not being a pervert. He's also thinking about how he's going to let his pokemon have it when they get home for wandering off again.]

B-Bye! [He manages to get out with a stutter, hurrying off towards his house with Kabuto in tow. He's also realizing that having an extra 25 pounds on your back would make for a good workout- meaning he shouldn't let his Scyther see that, or she'll get ideas and make him fight her with Tomo on his back all the time.]
