Because Martin is kind of just staring at the prehensile mouse tail he grew with this latest evolution.]

...well, at least the fur seems to blend in with my skin, more or less.

[He sighs and looks up, blushing and muttering a swear when he sees Brig with the Warp Band. He dives for it, Brig dodges, Martin uses the tail to grab it from him.]

I didn't want everyone to see this yet, you brat. [He sighs and turns to the Band, smiling a bit weakly] I evolved.

[He really can't think of anything else to say to this.]
