Trading Pokémon's a thing, right? Other trainers do it? [ She thinks. She's heard of it happening, anyway ] 'Cus I got a Pokémon I accidentally bonded with back during that earthquake, and neither of us get along that great with each other. So I'd like to give that trading thing a go.

[ Or she can keep trying to work things out with it but honestly... it's not been going well thus far. This week is a training week for her - making her own muscles work to their utmost and also trying to get a feel for what the other members of her... team... fight like. She's bonded with more Pokémon than she ever expected to, so she's trying to figure out how to work with them. Mostly this has involved having them fight with her and amongst each other in little spars towards the edge of the walls. So you might witness her or any of her team up to that. She considered going out but... well, she isn't confident some of these guys *cough Slugger and Tiny cough* could handle themselves outside the walls, yet.

Alternatively, when she goes to rest, she rests up in the Outpost and hang out there. Looking at the other Rangers gearing up and generally admiring them. She might be there with one or two of her Pokémon as well. Alternatively, you might encounter her going to the Pokémon Habitat to see where her bonded ... team ... go when they aren't with her.

Action her up at any of those places or respond to voice ]

[ ... What is there to answer it's hard and it wants to eat and it's pretty good as it is. So... "Not needed"

Okay, ignoring that they are in a public location she locks eyes (well, eye) with the Magnemite, throws down her bag as well as setting down the bottle she had her juice in, and raises her fists ]

Alright, then prove it. No more training if you can beat me.

[ It's clear she's trying to be controlled, but also losing her temper. The Magnemite looks blankly at her for a moment, but then points out "Bested before" Before floating closer to her, flattening it's eye in a sign of challenge! ]

U-um... should we really be doing this here?

This is how we do, though!

[ Or at least how she does. People who train with her, got to keep up with her. She regularly spars with all her Pokemon. Except for this clowning knob. So she waves for it to attack, and it responds by hitting her in the face with a thunder wave.

... This may or may not start to draw a crowd ]

A-all right...

[If this is going to help them to understand each other, Jinxie isn't about to stand between their attacks.]

[ The Thunder Wave paralyzes Melaka, and thus the next swing she tries to make ends up freezing her in place. She grits her teeth, and tries to scoot a little, but can't. The Magnemite, feeling confident and wanting to mess with her more floats away again and launches a Supersonic at her. Sending a disorienting noise in all directions. Which does land solidly on Melaka and might alert even more people to the fight starting up ]

...It's only using status moves.

[Jinxie remarks mostly to herself as she watches, although she does notice the crowd watching.]

U-um! It's all right, they're just training!

Do you... think that... this can stop me?

[ She says this while she's looking around for it. Her sense of balance is thrown off a little and she's paralyzed, but the full paralysis is already wearing off. Still, her jaw in particular feels a little stuck. The Magnemite is making to try to float behind her, and once there snipes her with a Sonic Boom, a concentrated blast of air and sound to hit her in the back. Which again gave her a start and she winces for it. Ow ]

[Oh, wait, there's an actual attack move.]

Melaka!

[This is getting dangerous.]

See, you can do stronger hits like that-- [ And the fact she got the complete sentence out shows that while she's still sluggish from the paralysis, she's no longer fully paralyzed. She does still stumble a little though, as she turns to face the Magnemite, which seems to be charging up a Thundershock to complete this and show how it totally does not need this training. But despite stumbling, she lurchers forward, and --

Throws what is clearly something like a Mach Punch. It moves with a speed which is far more than she should have been able to manage under the circumstances and ends up hitting the Magnemite right in the middle of its eye.

And it's knocked out in one hit from it. Clearly it was a critical] Then you should be able to take this!

[Jinxie's left completely speechless. She's really not sure what to think about any of this. But mostly, she looks sad.]

[ Still paralyzed and confused, she ends up falling to her knees next to the Magnemite, exhaling. And she pokes him lightly on the closed metal eyelid of it's eyeball ]

... See? That's what we're training for. If I was a big Aron or something I'd be eating you now.

[ and despite her voice being a little hard, she is genuinely concerned about that much. ]

Is he going to be okay? Shouldn't we go get some medicine or something...

Probably... he talking anymore?

[ Ugh the paralysis strikes again. And now she's feeling somewhat dizzy from the confusion again. She tries to shake it off.

... But no the Magnemite is not ]

...No, he's out cold.

Oh.

... Sorry. [ More to the Magnemite than anything. And he gestures at Jinxie ]

Can you carry him - if you can't, can you help me up?

Sure.

[Jinxie opts for helping Melaka to her feet. That Magnemite looks pretty heavy.]

Ugh... need to wear this off...

[ But the confusion is fading at least. Even if she feels static-y from the paralysis. She gets to her feet slowly, and looks down at the Magnemite. Guess she'll have to bend over and pick him up ]

Come on. Let's get you both to the hospital.

[Even though Jinxie is smaller than Melaka, she comes up beside her, offering her shoulder.]

I'll probably heal before then... but yeah.

[ And she leans on her there, while holding the Magnemite in both hands ]
