015 // action - forest shrine, verdant forest
[ action - forest shrine ]
Let's get to it.
[ Haruka is in one of her Rhyhorn racing jumpsuits with the sleeves rolled up (though not quite to the scar she got botching her portion of the Sanctuary liberation efforts). She's facing down a member of the Divine Defense Force, light on her feet and ready for anything. If they're going to keep splitting up for missions, she needs an accurate assessment of her whole team's abilities. She can't respect what she hasn't seen in person.
So she's going to try to beat the crap out of them. All of them. One by one.
Passersby are welcome to stay to observe or challenge her, though responses to the latter may vary. The Divine Defense Force, however? Had better not hold back.
Haruka won't, either. ]
[ away from the sparring ]
[ Close enough to reach Trainer telepathically but far enough that the sparring shouldn't disrupt their afternoon, Sky the Beartic has spread a (leaf-embroidered) tablecloth across a tree stump and outfitted it with a variety of goodies for an outdoor tea party. There's plates of Poffins and PokéPuffs, as well as piping hot Berry tea from a fancy china teapot - Passion the Vulpix has accompanied them, and deigned to heat some water for their tea. There's also plenty of teacups, so anyone stumbling upon Sky, Passion, and a very confused World Shaking the Rhyperior is welcome to join their quaint assembly.
A word of advice, however: the teacups (and teapot) are sized for Beartic paws. Come thirsty. ]
[ later - throughout verdant forest ]
[ As the sun sets and the cool evening air wafts in, Haruka can be found on World Shaking's back, eyes half-closed as she navigates the Rhyperior through the trees. They haven't gone on one of these runs in a while, and after the scare she gave him in the caves, he deserved a treat. And she deserves to cool her head, too. They're all right. They passed another test. A respite's been earned.
The fact that she heard a god was spotted in this area from Snor-Lord and his human friends is utter coincidence. ]

He thumps first Sky and then Stradivarius on the back in thanks, startling the Beartic. ] Bear!
[ Passion remains at the stump, glad of this chance to drag her teacup over that spot on the tablecloth. ]

Ni!
[that's...really quite alright. Thank you.
And if he'll excuse her, she has to find somewhere to dispose of this....creature.] Queen.

[ Passion peers in her cup and decides she's had enough. ] Vulpix.
[ Let's see, what other cups will they need to empty? This one has a bit of tea left in it....this one was the rock's....
....that one is full of kitten... ]

[if one of you can look after the kitten, she'd be grateful. And she's walking off. Maybe she can leave Brad in a tree...?
Dolce looks up at Passion and meeps.]

Especially since that excuses her from things that resemble actual work, like helping Sky pack up the dishes. The larger Pokémon is carefully wrapping each piece in packing paper before nestling it in her picnic basket. She must treasure the special tea set she got from Trainer. And she needs to remember to bring home leaves for Natto, too... ] Bear.

[ Sky is happy to clean up around the pair. Stradivarius? Would you like to carry the cup of kitten home, or should she? ] Bear?
[ Pardon her paw. It's stretching waaaay across the sky up here to get some plates. ]

Stradivarius returns, doof-less.] Nidoqueen. [she can take the kitten, especially since Sky has that picnic basket to take care of.
And up goes the kitten in the cup. Thank you, Passion.] Ni.

her paw is savedPassion sets down that paw and tips her chin up - don't mention it, please - before hopping off the table so Sky can get the tablecloth. ] Vulpix.[ If Sky notices the tiny tea stain where Passion had been sitting, she chooses not to comment as she folds up the cloth. This was pleasant, wasn't it? Wherever should they hold the next outdoor tea party? ] Bear?

Sky, however, likes the sounds of that last suggestion. That would be a charming change of scenery! When rehearsals ease up, she can inquire. ] Bear.
[ Now, does everymon have everything with which they came? ]

Nido. [no, they should be good. Let's go!]

It's going to be so much fun living in the Habitat together. She's trying not to smile too much, but she's never had a real friend before.
Passion has no need for friendship and thus follows coolly. ]
