Or you might outright just find Kaido, Flabébé and Sraggy.

They've set up a set of twin practice dummies (a big one for Kaido, a smaller one for Scraggy) and are practicing kicks and punches with synchromised timing, with Flabébé alternating between checking on the egg they have nearby and pushing a large ball around with Fairy Wind.

They've been at this for a week. Someone stop them.

I was further in the forest earlier. [But then Atsuro started following, and he has only one pokemon with him, so Kaido decided to train closer. He's so thankful you didn't do the same... though now with Nidoking to help the forest would be a walk in the park for you]

Well then, I'm glad I caught you. [She's still smiling nicely enough, but there's a critical look in her eye as she glances him over.] You haven't exacerbated any of your injuries, have you? You've been out for some time.

I'm fine. It was just scratches.

[And strain in his ankle, but he was actually mature enough to go easy on it the first couple of days]

What about you? How're you two doing with it?

[He seems to be telling the truth... she supposes she can let it go. For now.]

We're making progress, though it seems like it'll still be a while until Nidoking can come with us more regularly. [It got frustrated at having low-leveled opponents, and frustrated when it's the only one facing more difficult ones- no way around it right now. Her Zubat lets out an irritated cry and tries to puff up it's chest. Mari chuckles a bit.] Don't worry, you'll catch up soon enough.

A bit, yes. [She sighs, shaking her head a little.] But he'll just have to bear with it for now; I can't take him out to any more dangerous areas until the rest of us can hold our own too. It's not fair to only rely on him.

Yeah, I get what you mean.

... want to train together for a bit?

[maright]

Sure! You seem to have a pretty nice set-up here.

[kaidont]

I know, right? Took me a while to put them up. The first ones fell apart after a couple of kicks. [chuckle] I guess we got too strong for them.

My, very impressive. Where did you get them?

[kaidont]

Made them.

[Look at him, he's all proud]

[Aww, cute~ He deserves a gold star. Lacking that, have a hair ruffling instead.]

You certainly did a very good job with them! They seem to have held up well.

Anyway. Want to have a go at it?

Ah, yes.

[She sets her egg off safely to the side first, her Zubat nestling itself on top of it as a guard, then starts to build up sparkling energy in her hands. Once it's grown enough, she shoots it in a loose ball towards the dummy, where it hits closer to the shoulder than center.]

Hmm, it's tricky to aim when I can't put enough power into it...
