What: So Kili is an idiot. When he got back on Thursday, the house was hostile and so he ran off again. Thorin and Fili went down underground to look for him...while Kili is hiding on the opposite side of the city from the underground mess. Oops.

[Kili is avoiding everyone. He had fun at the valley, but apparently going out and exploring on his own was Bad and that meant everyone was furious at him.

Well, he knows when he isn't wanted around. So as soon as he got back, he left again, this time not leaving a note. Belbul nagged him, but he ignored her.

And then there was that request for help with something underground. Kili's been beneath Union before. Kili is not an idiot. Kili is staying the hell away from there.

So while there's all the chaos with the radio signal whatever (he doesn't care enough right now to pay attention), Kili has found a park of sorts on the other side of the city to hang around until nightfall]

[Ah, there we go. He smiles in greeting at Kuna and makes his way over without having to nudge too badly. Thank goodness she wasn't as forceful as his own, Fuji.]

[Once he's a few feet away he stops and crosses his arms.]

Sleeping outside's no fun when you have another alternative, you know. Take it from me- I once lived in the woods for a month. Not fun.

Sleeping inside's no fun when everyone's pissed at you for doing the kinda stuff they did.

[His answer doesn't surprise him. Instead he just takes a seat near him.]

"Pissed" is probably a strong word. They were mad because they were worried.

[He gives Hayato a Look]

Thorin wasn't talking to me. He's pissed.

Okay. He's pissed because he was worried. I don't think leaving again is going to make things any better.

I don't want to be around people who are pissed at me when all I did was go find a Ralts. I left a note!

[Here, he actually brought something for you. Kousaka sweets. Have a manju.]

You left a very vague note that didn't tell them much about where you were. If I had done the same to Taki or Honoka they'd probably kill me.

[He pauses, quiet for a moment before he continues.]

In fact, I did that very thing once.

[Ooh, candy. He takes it with a nod]

I didn't know where I was going! I was just going. I told them that!

You did, you did. I think also it was the fact that you left a note and didn't tell them in person, too. I'm not going to get too involved since this seems like a family thing. I'm also not your older brother so it's not like I can tell you what to do.

I can offer you some advice though, if you want it.

[He smiles a little and stands back up, looking up at the sky.]

It might be terrifying, it might be the absolute last thing you want to do. Or the hardest thing you have to do. It might not be okay at first, but...

[He looks back at him and smile.]

You can't run from home forever. If you do- you might really regret it. I know I did.

[If Hayato was hoping for that to help, he'll be disappointed. Kili just huffs and stands, clearly unhappy]

I'm not running from home! I'm hiding out until they both calm down! I know them, it takes a few days to get them to calm down and I'm not going to stick around while they do it! I didn't even do anything this time.

Man, and here I thought that sounded pretty cool and everything!

[He's a little amused if somewhat deflated. He sighs.]

But okay! I'll back off. Shows how much I know, right? I'm just worried, too.

Maybe if this were a radio show.

[He'll give credit where credit is due. Kili sighs, running a hand through his hair]

And I know you're just trying to help. But everyone, everyone thinks I'm reckless and an idiot and incapable of anything.

I missed my calling it looks like.

[He would be a ham on the radio, tbh.]

Mm, if you think that then it would make sense to prove them wrong. I just think maybe you haven't found the right way to go about it yet.

[And that's honest. He stands up.]

Either way, I should go let them know you're all right. They went below to look for you.

That cave exploration call that went out a day or so ago. They went down to see if maybe you went to check it out.

[He frowns a little. He was gonna go to, for the exact same reason, but he's glad now he at least took a walk first.]

So, it was probably good luck I waited a day before going myself.

Shit, Thorin knows it's crazy down there. Shit, I am in so much trouble.

[He's frantic]

I should get home, wait for them, shit...

[He nods.]

Heading home and waiting sounds like a pretty good plan. I'll go ahead and try to find them. I'll let them know you're safe.

[Kili runs his hand over his trousers as his 'mons start off]
