[Within Union tonight, a certain musician is seated, playing her instruments, including a new one she'd found laying around in the old city. Nothing fancy, but it added to the feel of her music. Her music isn't loud enough to rouse anyone from their slumber. Quite the opposite, really. As always her music is soothing and relaxing.

As she picks up the tempo, Xiu begins to glow, her entire body and instruments shimmering with an eerie, yet beautiful light.

...and then she disappears.

A few seconds pass, leaving an odd silence, until the musician slowly fades back into view, her instruments resuming playing as if nothing happened. However, anyone watching can see a strange, almost indescribably aura as Xiu basks in the moonlight, and those who happen to be passing by might feel an urge to come closer and listen.

Her song also plays through the network via her warp band.]

[Sinbad was out and about, having found his mind was too busy thinking over the entire scenario with Gigas and Sanctuary to sleep - not to mention the discomfort of his evolution-induced additions that he hasn't gotten used to.

It was more a feeling then anything that brought him to Xiu, his new empathetic abilities sought out that soothing aura. His eyes closed as he sat on a nearby wall, he knew he never heard this song before, but it was weirdly nostalgic in a way - and his stress seem to melt away]

[All of Xiu's music is original, although somehow, she seems to incorporate some kind of feel for the environment she's in. It's really quite remarkable for someone so young. His presence doesn't go unnoticed for long.]

Did you some to listen to me?

Yeah... I'm probably far from the only person who can't get to sleep. Seems like you picked a good night to play.

[He smiles faintly as he stares up at the moonlight]

Your music is pretty calming, like a weight's off my shoulders, and the moon seems to look less sad.

[Sinbad shook his head at the last part, that sounded ridiculous to him]

I try to play a little every night, but it can be hard deciding on a good spot.

[It's best not to ask how long she thought about where to play.]

I'm glad to hear it. That's kind of what I aim for. Everyone should be able to just sit back and relax.

That's right... what's the point of fighting, or defending yourself if you can't enjoy moments like this when it's all over.

I don't like fighting. I'd like to see everyone at peace someday.

Same. I don't like it at all, but unfortunately - it's unavoidable right now. But someday...

[He trails off slightly as he closes his eyes]

Someday, it won't be a thing.
