So, with the upcoming fight, I just wanted to wish everyone luck. If we can pull this off-- and I know we will-- there's going to be a whole city of people that are going to have their lives and freedom back.

That said... I know Union is a pretty peaceful town. While it's admirable you guys have done so well by not resorting to violence, and I mean that, I do, don't forget that ...this is very much a war. Gigas isn't going to care about a thing like that. They'll shoot to kill, and if they take you alive.

Hope that they don't.

That's ...all I really wanted to say. I want to see everyone one of you make it back here. I don't want a single person landing on an MIA list, I mean it.

[And he does. His expression is much more grave this time. He likes this place and he likes the people and he doesn't want to see another body count. He ends the feed.]

Ah, Hey! Everyone assigned to Mission Eight! We should talk or get together before we set out. I don't know some of you very well and we should change that if we're going to be relying on each other to watch our backs.

[A small smile for Sanae. He nods.]

That's right. This is a very important fight and you could say it has a very personal importance to me.

Personal importance? What kind?

What Gigas did to Sanctuary is what they wanted to do to Caldera. The thought of them getting away with that for as long as they did makes me want to see red. Taking away someone's freedom is pretty unforgivable in my books.

Also, I don't know if you were at that mission briefing, but I've been held in Gigan captivity before. It's not anything someone should have to go through. I want to do what I can to stop that from happening to anyone else.

I didn't know they wanted to do that to Caldera too. That's terrible.

[ The second part surprises her, and the young priestess puts a hand to her mouth. ]

[ That Gigas did such terrible things, and one of her friends had to go through something so traumatic... Sanae clenched a fist at her side. ]

That's it, I've decided! I'm going to help too!

We were in conflict with them for a long time. Union came and helped negotiate a cease fire, but they every bit wanted to make us one of their little trophy cities. To take away our freedom and way of life. I won't stand for that happening again.

[It's funny how he never fancied himself a soldier, but here lately, despite being forcibly made into one, he didn't find himself too bothered with the role change. He could do something with this body, especially if it was throwing what Gigas did to him back into their faces.]

[It's probably good he's not telling the full extent of what Gigas did to him, but that sudden bout of determination surprises him. He blinks, before smiling.]

We'll definitely need all the help we can get. It's going to be pretty scary, though.

[ That made her so angry. What gave them the right?! Experimenting on people, torturing them, taking their homes away from them. Gigas really was a terrible place as far as Sanae was concerned. ]

I know, but I have to fight! What if they tried to do the same thing to Citadel or Union? People like that have to be stopped!
