So on my group's trip, we saw a god - "Yveltal", who I'd hafta say can be called the God of Death from what we saw - heard about another god - "Groudon", who apparently tore up something called "117" - saw one of the ancients' cities - "Mauville City" - and met the Savior in person.

So how did everyone else's trips go?

[Lucas is suitably silent for a few moments as the sound of tearing bandages continues in the background.]

...Maybe that's part of what we were meant to understand.

We know that humans treated Pokemon poorly... we know that humans probably still do. But perhaps we've never really understood what the war meant. What... almost losing the entire human race meant.

Almost sounds like a threat; "If you screw up again, this is what we'll do to you all."

...I hope not.

[A sigh.]

If everyone saw different things, it feels more like... they wanted us to know the story without... assuming things or guessing things.

Gods are all... unique, too, aren't they? The ones we've met are almost like people. But that one... it was just like a force of nature. More like the thing we saw on the plains.

I gotta feel like writing in the sky would've made a clearer story than just throwing us into the middle of a bunch of disasters.

So does that mean there's two groups of gods, one thinking and one mindless destruction? Or do they switch back and forth between the two depending on how they feel?

[What would Cresselia be like as a force of destruction...?]

Um... I'm sure someone would still find it hard to believe magic words in the sky if they didn't see it themselves.

[A pause.]

And... I'm not sure. But I wonder if the ones who keep in contact with us would really want to cause that kind of mindless destruction...

If we stuck one of 'em in a Pokéball they might.

[Lucas exhales slightly at that.]

...We've got to try to understand what those things are.

[It might be a surprising declaration, but...]

The other cities - they don't all feel the same way we do. But we can't make anyone understand what we feel... if we don't really know what they do at all.

I agree.

[Though for different reasons.]

Who knows, we might find out that all the stories we have about 'em are wrong and they're completely harmless.

...Mm. Well.

The Pokemon of the past were angry about something. ...Maybe it was more the attitude of the people than the actual... balls, but... I think it's much nicer being outside, still.

We kinda do a lot of the same things after all and it doesn't seem to be a problem; we bring 'em out to wherever we need 'em and then put 'em away when we don't. The difference is in where they go when we don't want 'em around.

Most of my Pokemon live with me...

[Lucas murmurs this a bit half-heartedly, aware that it sounds overly defensive.]

I guess I see your point. But there has to be a real difference from the way they're treating us now, right...? And that's why... we really have to see what that difference is.

[Lucas opens his mouth slightly before frowning.]

Don't the Enhanced... use Pokeballs? I've never visited that facility, but... some of them live there, right?

Not sure if they're still using Pokéballs now that they're here? Either way I'd wanna pull one apart and they might not take it well if I can't end up putting it back together again. I can't imagine it's a good idea to make them upset with what they can do.

We should see how they're doing sometime, anyway. It would be nice if they could start to think of Union as home.

[also they seem like they'd be good to have along on these kinds of weird missions]
