[With Spring arriving, Robin has more freedom to go outside. And so it is that he is in one of the ground-level courtyards with all of his Eevees, drilling them. While those who know Robin might know that his Eevees are lazy and rather mischievous while at home, today there is no trace of that at all. They move with military precision, as if they are a small army working together and moving in tight formations with great grace and skill.

However, because they are all Eevee evolutions, it's still the most adorable goddamn thing you've seen in awhile, to be sure]

[Noire, and her Murkrow right on her shoulder, were passing by, by now they can't stop but watch in amazement.]

Oh, wow...

[The Eevees perk up at the comment and break formation, encircling Noire with staring eyes that clearly say "if you liked it you should feed us"]

O-Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't meant to interrupt...

[Murkrow eyes the fuzzballs. Back off, fluffy.]

[All 8 of the Eevee evolutions watch the Murkrow cheekily, their stares being extremely piercing until Flareon finds a shiny coin on the ground and immediately starts fighting over it with Jolteon and Leafeon]

Not at all! Company is always welcome and the little ones have trouble keeping to task anyway.

[Asemu has the day off, and is using it to casually stroll around Union. He stops when he sees this, though.]

...Whoa. That's impressive.

[The Eevees immediately start preening themselves and puffing themselves out for the audience, which breaks the formation]

Unfortunately I have trouble getting them to hold it when they're praised for their prowess.

...Sorry. If I'd known I'd have kept my mouth shut until they were done. I hope it won't be hard to get them going again.

No worries. They'll settle down in time. This is quite common, truth be told.

Ah. OK. Still, I feel like my Pokémon could learn a thing or two here. They don't disobey me, but several of them keep trying to play hero.

[Yuuna isn't exactly an expert on Robin's Eevees, but she does know Robin, so when she and Shinji the Primeape (in his stupid hat) and Kuina the Bagon happened to wander by, she stops.

And just starts giggling. There's absolutely nothing sillier than seeing Robin marshalling the troops, and even the foul-tempered pig-ape hops up and down and hoots, clapping his fists together.]

[The Eevees strike a silly pose the minute his back is turned]

Well it'd be hard not to. I didn't know you had a full set following you around.

[That's a lot of Eevees...]

They are my pride and joy.

[Her hand goes over to ruffle Shinji's head, the monkey snuffling.]

I didn't know Eevee had that many evolutions, to be honest. I've only raised a Sylveon.

[The cuteness isn't completely lost on him, but someone like Ishimaru is far more inclined to admire the tight formation of the Eeveelution brigade. He salutes the trainer as he walks past with a deep fervor in his eyes, his own Riolu standing at attention by his side and observing the maneuver.]

[The Eevees turn in unison and stand at attention at Robin's command, saluting Ishimaru.]

[Okay god damnit that's too cute, and Ishimaru chuckles in spite of himself.]

It's good to see someone else interested in the pursuits of order and discipline!

[His Riolu acts much more serious by comparison, and marches up slowly to face the crowd of Eevees. Unfortunately, his confidence is lost mid-bow, and he stands there frozen in the same spot with nervousness.]

[Glaceon starts sniffing Riolu while Vaporeon flicks its tail indifferently and then starts licking its butt. Jolteon smacks Vaporeon with its paw to get it to stop and the two almost immediately start scuffling. Eevee discipline breaks down rapidly after that]

[Riolu stiffens up and yelps a little, effectively ruining his image. He looks rather disappointed in himself for a moment, but soon recovers to quickly run around trying to round up the Eevees, barking wildly as he goes.]

Could such maneuvers truly be considered work though?

[Meanwhile Cordelia is getting Eevee-piled]

[ She takes it relatively well, bending down to give attention to each of them--but not too much, obviously. She doesn't want to spoil them or play favorites.

All of them are her favorites, but she'd never admit it. ]

I would say so, even if they may no longer feel it is.

To be fair they can be a bit of a handful.
