There's so many different types of Pokémon out here. I thought it was going to be boring because how many Grass-types and Water-types can one place have, but wow, was I wrong. Anyone have any suggestions for a good Water-type I can find around here? I heard something about a fishing rod--who do I need to pay to get a good one?

How long have you been in Union?

More than a week, but not by much. I'm still adjusting.

[she's had a lot of schedule and structure all her life and is at a bit of a loss.]

Yeah, it's pretty weird here. Their music is too...airy! And their food is bland.

Half the food's too sweet if it has any taste at all! I don't know how they stand it.

I don't mind sweet, but it's like they've never heard of a chili pepper.

I found a cart claiming it was selling Calderan-spiced sausage. People are going on and on about it burning them, but it's so pathetically mild.

I guess they haven't heard of chili.

I'm getting my mom to send me her curry recipe and then finding someone to make it. I miss flavor.

I can cook some. Ironically, too much time in the heat destroys the taste.

Yeah that's what she said when I tried to make it. Oops.

Gently does it. That usually keeps things from burning, too. Unless you get distracted.

Yeah...that was the problem. I kept getting bored and wandering off.

Either playing or being a bit nervous. Belbul's the only steady one and she refuses to help cook.

They probably don't appreciate real food, either. Maybe your Darumaka?

He likes to roll around too much.

He hasn't tried any? Mine loved hot things. [hotter than most Calderans like it.] Fire-types might be better with spices. Or she was just strange.
