There's so many different types of Pokémon out here. I thought it was going to be boring because how many Grass-types and Water-types can one place have, but wow, was I wrong. Anyone have any suggestions for a good Water-type I can find around here? I heard something about a fishing rod--who do I need to pay to get a good one?

[He cuts the feed. Anyone interested in ACTION can find him playing with his 'mons, napping under a nearby tree, or training them (and trying to work out Kuna and Azaram's issues) in some nearby grass.]

Huh, that may be a good option, then. And I can wait. I was going to spend this week training, anyway. We're taking a break here and Kuna wanted to show us the lake. I think. She likes it, anyway.

Yep! She's also pretty...not keen on fights. This is a bit of a problem since I'm Calderan.

You'll still argue. She won't.

Then you'll just have to make her learn, won't you? Push her to do stuff she doesn't like.

No! She won't tell me if she doesn't like it and I'm not going to be mean to her like that. There's other ways to work with her, there's gotta be.

How is being mean going to get her to be more assertive and less of a doormat? That'll do the exact opposite!

Forcing adaptation. Basic principal of training and evolution. You don't have to be really mean. Just a little bit annoying.

She literally won't tell me when something is wrong. How is annoying her and being mean going to fix that problem?!

Second of all, it sounds like she doesn't have many boundaries. Have you considered that she does like doing things for you because she likes you?

No, she's that way with everyone. She doesn't like fighting! She doesn't like--

[Kuna butts his chin, bleating worriedly. Just agree with the lady, please stop fighting! Please please please please please!]

Even arguments stress her out. She's a doormat.

Putting her in a position where she has to defend herself or be hurt. Or...think she will anyway.

A controlled environment with an added element of surprise and hostility.

This is beyond her just needing to learn to defend herself. I don't think that'll do any good right now.
