[The video feed opens on Kanji's home, and the young craftsman looking rather out of sorts. Even the Pokémon on screen look a bit tense; he idly scratches a Pachirisu behind the ears, and sighs.

For a moment, he glances aside to a photo sitting on a desk, before he speaks again.]

I'm gonna cut straight to business, here. Been thinkin' about shit for the past month, really. And I wanna ask...

[He swallows.]

How d'you go about gettin' into the Rangers?

I've always loved volunteering. I want to do more of that, and travel as well.

Yeah, I can get that. [He nods some.] How far've ya been?

[warriormouse]

Just to the mountains. I wasn't allowed to go further before this winter, thanks to my accident, and then it's been difficult finding time to go what with the Enhanced crisis.

Ah, I get ya. And that did kinda screw things up, huh...

[There's a bit of glancing aside there, thoughtful.]

A bit. I am glad we were able to help them, though. Prisca, the girl in the Old City, is the last person to want to hurt people.

[Quiet-] I was out on the plains. Never learnt the guy's name. Hope he was okay.

[warriormouse]

[Martin smiles a bit]

I'm sure he is. We've got that facility going up, after all.

[realmenknitplushies]

Yeah. Everything's lookin' good. [Scratching his head, here.] So much power, but all it did was screw those poor guys up... whole thing's a mess.

[warriormouse]

And that is why we shouldn't mess with nature too much. A little is fine, necessary for progress I think, but push too far and...
