[ he coughs slightly, and adopts a somewhat more 'official' tone. ] In any case, I don't want to take up too much of everyone's time, so for those among you that I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Bilbo Baggins, and I'm one of the librarians here in Union. Since we seem to be getting more and more newcomers lately in between all these, um - [ what is even the right word to use for this ] - upheavals? - that have been going on, I thought it might be useful to maybe make myself and the library known. You can find us in the same tower as the labs and the university, so if you ever find yourself in need of some research materials, or even just a good book to lose yourself in for a few hours, do feel free to come seek us out - we ought to have something to suit most everyone's needs. If you happen to get lost, ask around for the Roar of Time Library, and someone should be able to point you in the right direction.

Speaking of information and books, I would like to let you know that I will be coming by scouring your mathematics section again.

Oh, just some simple algorithms and equations I'm looking up for some of my research. I am endeavoring to create a few things and I would like to have an idea of probability before field work.

Now, since you just said you're creating a few things, I'm starting to doubt that these algorithms are all that simple. Hmm, well, perhaps not that simple. You have incredible knowledge and multiple areas, were it not for that knowledge, I wouldn't know where to look for some of my sources.

Well, it has to do with that pokedex that was spoken about a month or so ago. The recent events put my research on hold.

Well, by the time you get to my age you've had more than enough time to do a lot of reading, if you've the mind for it. Having to keep track of a library helps. [ that said, though, he is looking a little pleased. ] More to the point, all that knowledge would be sitting here like so many lemons if people like you didn't come along looking to make some real use out of it.

--Ah, yes, yes, now that you mention it I do remember hearing of it before - well, before all of that nasty business recently. There were certainly a few rumours that trickled down to we in the libary, at any rate. Is it all still in the concept stages, then?

It is a bit upsetting that so many don't use such wonderful resources available to them. However, I suppose that it's a matter of time. There are those who are needed among the walls of knowledge and those who are needed out within the fields. Sometimes there are those that are both.

Something related to the database of all the pokemon they came in contact with, the pokedex, should it get specifically called that.
