[Maya hasn't heard much yet-- not beyond something going wrong. But it's possible it wasn't him, possible he's fine and Maya is worried that isn't true.

She doesn't know how bad it might be, but they'd... someone would have sent her word if it was too grave, right? She'd been busy, had been helping Nozomi (and in doing so had been tired herself) and in doing so, had been tired herself.

But all she could do until now was wait, wait at home in the quiet of the manor (with Ichigo gone as well, it was so--- so silent---) and hope.

As much as she'd like to pretend she isn't a bundle of nerves, her pokémon can feel it, can feel the way her aura sparks like static, the way the beating rhythm of her core is erratic each time something makes a sound like an approach. But she doesn't say a word, for fear it will make things worse, and instead waits for Peri's call that Fuyuhiko has arrived.]

Hey! You're probably busy, so I figured I would write to you for now. Maybe it'll give you something to do. Flicker's doing her best to deliver this to you, so you should write back for her sake!

Everything around here is going fine, but you should know that Ichigo is still away. I'm sure he'll return, though. Even still, it's gotten quiet around here, so I'll have to pick up more students! I'm going to put out a message soon but if you come across anyone, direct them to me, of course.
