That being said, it's likely easy to crack, but that doesn't mean she is going to be entirely clear about what her intentions are with this posting. ]

I hope our guests aren't bothering too many people around here. I didn't go to Caldera when we got the first distress signal, so I can assume things with this Rory guy went all right. I don't hear too many people grumbling, and no matter where they're from, they tried to smooth things over with Gigas and Caldera. We should treat them the way only Unionites can.

I wanna urge people to be careful out there, especially with all the reports from the rangers coming in. I've been given permission to sell some of the Tenma family's famous protective wards and charms just in case, and I'll be offering readings free of charge for anyone planning on heading out there. I can't guarantee 100 percent success, but my fortunes never lie. They might help.

How long are you gonna deny how you actually feel, Nicocchi? It's not really fair to you or Makki, you know.

[ Her tone wasn't chiding but, rather, a bit sad, sympathetic even. Nozomi had known for a while, even without the spiritual aid, and it was admittedly a bit painful to watch. ]

Or Chie, for that matter.

[And hearing Chie's name just makes her visibly wince.]

Because yeah, how bad would that be? She already has someone she likes...

[ Nozomi would keep her own observations to herself. It was a terrible situation all around, with someone likely to get hurt in the end. She liked Chie enough, from the little that she saw or heard about her, but she wasn't blind to what was going on on that front--and this one, for that matter. ]

[ Meaning that Nico could tell her anything she wanted to get off her chest. The slightly older girl offered her a reassuring smile. She would give Nico the choice, for now, because even a blind woman could see that she was suffering at least a bit about it. ]

[She trailed off, starting to just feel too awful about the whole thing. She'd been so caught up being embarrassed about it, she'd forgotten part of the reason this was a terrible idea overall. She didn't know how Maki felt - well, no, wasn't that obvious? She loved Chie, clearly! So what did that make her?]

[ Nozomi frowned a bit. You've been hurting over this for a while, haven't you? She hesitates before responding. ]

[Because all of that, that was all before Chie... at least, she thinks it was. Was it? Thinking about it just reminds her how Maki didn't even tell her, that's how little she mattered to her.]

[She had thought she wanted to, but when Nozomi says that... what would she do? If it was still red, what did it mean if Maki was dating Chie? Sure, Nico had been, in retrospect, sort of jealous of the other girl, but Chie was a nice person! Did that string mean Nico was supposed to steal Maki away? Or what if Maki had a string with Chie too? Did those things even go both ways?

And if it wasn't there anymore, then what? That didn't change how Nico felt... should she really just bury it? Forget about it? What was she supposed to do around Maki then anyway?]
