[ Nozomi will assume that Rory and Crystal have been going through the usual channels on the warp band, and while she isn't the best at filtering things, she will certainly give it a try. That being said, it's likely easy to crack, but that doesn't mean she is going to be entirely clear about what her intentions are with this posting. ]

I hope our guests aren't bothering too many people around here. I didn't go to Caldera when we got the first distress signal, so I can assume things with this Rory guy went all right. I don't hear too many people grumbling, and no matter where they're from, they tried to smooth things over with Gigas and Caldera. We should treat them the way only Unionites can.

[ The tone of voice insinuating that people should interpret that however they want. Noncommittal responses are the best. ]

I wanna urge people to be careful out there, especially with all the reports from the rangers coming in. I've been given permission to sell some of the Tenma family's famous protective wards and charms just in case, and I'll be offering readings free of charge for anyone planning on heading out there. I can't guarantee 100 percent success, but my fortunes never lie. They might help.

[ Nozomi stops by toward the end of the day. She looks a little tired. She takes the time to play respects first before looking for Rei. ]

[Rei is easy enough to find, she comes walking out of the shrine shortly after Nozomi arrives. Her appearance is a little different than the last time they’d talked over the warp band, with no orbs or anything, but there’s a visible air of heat to her body all the same. And that same red mark on her forehead, though it’s dulled to an almost flesh-tone.]

There you are, Nozomi. What’s going on?

[ Nozomi looks up from her praying with a smile. She certainly takes notice of the physical changes, but doesn't make mention to it yet. ]

Hello, Rei. Can we talk inside?

[Rei nods and slides open the door with a gesture.]

Of course. Come in, tell me what's on your mind?

[ Nozomi steps inside, taking off her shoes and waiting until Rei closes the door. ]

I met Rory today.

[She does so and blinks, looking at Nozomi curiously.]

And who is Rory? I'm afraid I don't know them.

One of the Team Evolution agents who came to visit. He seems to be the one in charge.

And what did he have to say, Nozomi? [This has gotten her interest piqued, most definitely. She'd heard them, but felt that they were probably the kind of people it was best to steer clear of.] Are you expecting trouble?

Not much. He was nice enough, but very calculated in his responses.

[ A pause, and a bit of an inward smile. ]

I offered to give him a reading.

[She smiles back, eyes searching.]

And what did this reading say? Did he accept?

He accepted. He'll be coming to the shop in the next few days. I haven't done a reading of my own yet.

I was hoping I could purify myself and do some meditation here first, to be sure. That's why I came.

[Rei seems slightly troubled by the notion though.]

What do you think of this man, though? With his guarded responses.

I don't know. He did a lot of good for Caldera, so I'm thankful for that.

[ She sounds hesitant. ]

But, where is he from and what does he want? That's my question. I admit I know nothing about Team Evolution beyond the name.

And you...don't sound terribly confident about him. That's enough to make me question them.

I don't know where he's from, and I don't know a lot about Team Evolution myself.

[ Nozomi frowns a bit. ]

I don't know. I can't really explain it. I don't think he's telling the whole story.

[Rei folds her arms and shakes her head.]

He's a suspicious person. That's really all there is to say, isn't it.

I agree, which is why I'm hoping the cards will tell me something about him.

[ Nod. ]

[Her fist clenches, a visible heat beginning to surround it.]
