[ So Salvation has come and gone, she's had her time with her sister, things have moved on - but Melaka, who has gotten in the habit of checking Union's TM slot now and again after she realized that as a Ranger / as a trainer she gets free access to it... found a new one she didn't recognize there. She taught it to one of hers (specifically, she taught it to her creepy Drowzee, Guide) and she went around experimenting with this new Secret Power. And lo and behold, as she did, she found that it could make pocket spaces in rocks. And trees.

Secret Bases.

Not sure what to make of this, Melaka now is going around the city seeing if she can figure out the rules for it (it does seem she can only make one at a time) and seeing if she can find some one with a particularly cool interior. But the result is that Melaka and an collection of Pokémon (her old tried and true Toxicroak, Lurks, as well as a somewhat anxious looking Druddigon and the ever floating Guide) are testing out new locations!

Is it in this tree next to your house? This rock on the corner? She'll try out of the city eventually too, but for right now, this is kind of fun. So if you saw her appearing into a hole in a tree or something after the Drowzee's eyes flashed, that's why.

[There is probably a perfectly good reason why there's suddenly a giant hole in the middle of a tree on his way between home and the Medical Center, right.]

[ and a good reason a giant dragon's head is poking out of it even though he shouldn't be able to fit in it ]

Testing out a new move! You saw Salvation brought us a new TM, right?

Oh - no, I actually hadn't noticed! I don't go by to check very often...

Is it... the Giant Hole Creator move?

Actually no. It kinda makes a flash of light and can do some other stuff but- No, this is spinned out, come on!

[ And she makes to grab Lucas by the ear or the hair or whatever works best to get him up to the door of the hole here, to peek his head in to the much larger space inside ]

Oh - ow.

[Lucas does not protest too much and duly allows himself to be dragged into the hole created by the Giant Hole Creator m -- ]

W-What...?!

[He pulls his head back and stares at the tree for a moment.]

How is that possible?!

How should I know? [ But it's cool, right? As she got him in there, Marina the Druddigon backed in herself, so there's a full size dragon who seems to be surveying the space as an art studio. And there's plenty of space besides...

Okay it's not huge, but it is bigger than Melaka's current apartment. She leans against the wall (which seems to be made of wood and leaves ] Maybe it's a dream world.

[He'll just prod himself a few times to make sure of this.]

...Gosh. This is really something. Can I look around?

[It feels weird to be asking permission to walk around the inside of a tree, but...]

There's no way to explain something like this, is there? I mean... what sort of science is involved to make something bigger on the inside than the outside?

I've been opening up a lot all over town, but I guess Guide can only keep one at a time.

Dunno what it's supposed to do - but it makes a little flash happen, and y'get these weird spaces when it hits certain spots. Here, look.

[ And she motions for Isabela to come and look inside this door. Because inside is an impossibly big room for where it's opening to. ]

This does have amazing possibilities in the free room and board department, though. Hell, you could rent these, or use them for stashing. Er, storage.

Not sure. [ She admits this fairly, crossing her arms and leaning up against a wall here ] I've not tested 'em for time, but I've found out that at least for one Pokémon, they can only have one at a time.

That one I can answer - 'bout one in ten things I tried it worked on. Didn't work out a pattern yet through other than liking big rocks and trees.
