[Is that Ami in a medic coat? Why yes, yes it is. Guess who is a brand new medic in Union? But the girl genius is currently being cuddled by a Lapras and smiles, trying to gently nudge the Lapras away though honestly not trying too hard.]

I hope any of the students I tutor had a wonderful Salvation day and winter holidays. We'll have to discuss new tutoring schedules as my own has become very busy of late. [Being a medic will do that.]

I also want to thank everyone who was more than willing to help me before and let you know that the distraction that I provided myself was a success in keeping me completely engaged.

I wish everyone returning to class the very best in your studies and would also like to offer my tutoring services at this time as well.

Well... yes and no. My friend Crux evolved recently... but now I can't carry him around. It's going to make using him as a talisman much harder.

Why, exactly, were you using a pokemon as a talisman? While there are some pokemon who have inherent good luck and charms in place allowing for them to gain more or to be more fortunate, I am not sure it is appropriate to use them as actual "talisman." Your pokemon is your partner, not your charm.

You see, my mother was very talented with curses and hexes. She's the one who helped Crux become a talisman, so I could become stronger.

There is nothing wrong with creating a deep bond with your pokemon, it's healthy and very important. I do not think you are weak.
