First Blade - Video

[This is a very unhappy Guy on the network today. Anyone who knows him or the fon Fabre boys will know that he's been gone since their disappearance, trying to find them. They're his best friends (yes Asch even you). He can't just leave them out there. He's back in Union for now, needing to get more supplies.

There is a Lillipup barking somewhere off-screen.]

Still haven't found Asch or Luke. I checked the entire forest, or as deep into it as we could get right now, and I didn't see any sign of them. I'm really starting to get worried.

[Guy sighs]

Has anyone else heard anything from them?

I know mom was worried! I didn't mean to be gone any longer than like a day! Geez... I know mom's upset...

[It affects him a lot, his mother being so sick. He knows he could end up like that, when he gets older, and it's scary to think about. She hadn't even been able to get out of bed to meet them when they got home. They'd spent a lot of their time stuck in Braixen form just cuddled up with her while they recovered.]

Sorry, Luke. I didn't mean to yell. I've just been looking for you guys for weeks now and when I get back? You're already home! I'm tired, that's all.

...Asch being grumpy about me looking for you guys didn't help, either, but that's just Asch.

Asch's default setting is grumpy, why aren't you used to it by now? I am.

[That's a bit strange, a bit more defensive than usual, but Luke is just shrugging on the video screen.]

You should come over, I'm trapped in my room for 'a long time,' whatever that's supposed to mean.

I am used to it. Doesn't meant it doesn't get to me sometimes. And I'm coming, I'm coming. I'm barely into Union, Luke.

Whatever. Besides, we're tired too. We barely ate for like a month! Asch kinda deserves to be snappy right now.

[He sighs a little.]

Yeah, I know. ... Thanks for looking for us.

[It's pointless to argue]

Any time...only not literally. Please don't vanish again, Luke. I was worried.

I wouldn't... Geez, everyone acts like we don't know it was stupid.

I know you guys know. But I was worried.

Well... Thanks, like I said.

[In a much smaller voice;]

It was my fault. Don't be too mad at Asch, or whatever.

[He turns this video private so fast]

Hey, none of that. Both of you guys screwed up, not just you. He could have stopped you, but he didn't.

Like he had a choice, right? He'd have gotten in trouble if he didn't come too. Mom and dad would've blamed him...

Still not your fault. You guys are twins, not the same person.

... I wonder about that sometimes.

[A big sigh.]

I mean, I have no idea if he's actually listening to this right now or not. Being stuck in someone's head is ...weird.

I bet. But trust me, you guys are two different people. I'd know, yeah?

Well, yeah duh! Physically. I just gotta focus on that I guess.

You can do it. Really, though, you guys look pretty different for identical twins, at least to me.

[Guy you're a dork]

That's what Cordelia says too. I mean, I know he's uglier but...

[Luke is obviously done being sad, if he's back to insulting his brother.]

[Guy just laughs]

[He shrugs, then smiles a little.]
