Hello, my name is Cordelia Chevalier, for those who may not know me. I am here on behalf of the Rangers and Swords of the Savior to make a small announcement. Due to the colder-than-normal winter that we experienced last year, we will be providing warm weather gear for those travelers wishing to go outside of Union, as well as those in Union who are ill-equipped for the upcoming winter. Our hope is to also be able to branch out efforts to bring warm weather gear to those in Citadel as well.

However, we will need a few donations to make this possible, as well as volunteers to help hand out supplies both in Union as well as Citadel.

[There's something in her voice when she mentions Citadel. There are more than a few Rangers that are a bit... hesitant to go back there a second time. Something about being tared and feathered does that to you.]

In any case, our headquarters will be open to any and all who need assistance, as well as those willing and able to help. Please feel free to stop by.

[Snow is falling, and sure enough, the Rangers HQ is abuzz with activity, people flitting about either trying to get supplies or providing supplies to other people. There is a pavilion outside providing warm drinks available to those who need them.]

[It's the end of a long day of volunteering and, because so many people are together, someone--either a Ranger or a Sword, it's hard to say--has decided to plan a party to celebrate the Savior, or snow, or getting inebriated (it's not clear which).

Regardless of who planned it, there are drinks and food, as well as music. Families are encouraged to attend.]

I'd be more than happy to help with donations as well as handing out supplies. I could go to Citadel if necessary--I rather enjoyed my last visit there.

Apparently, although what exactly I'm not sure. A number of our rangers came back a bit worse for wear the last time, and refused to talk about it afterward.

[True to form, while everyone else is partying and having a good time, Cordelia is still hard at work in another area of the headquarters. Just because it's the end of the day, it doesn't mean that work goes away.]

[Quattro isn't planning to skip the impromptu party, but he's making sure his area is in order, first; a report on things he saw in the north had to be filed, and he wanted to check some of the gear he keeps at headquarters. It's on his way back that he comes across Cordelia, pausing for a moment when he sees her. Then, he clears his throat.]

I hadn't planned on it, no. There is still work to be done here.

Nothing wrong with some hard work. I'd get some time in if you can, though. The papers can probably wait a day.

Requests for supplies, letters of introduction for those going to Citadel--we apparently had a bit of an incident the last time we were there--requests for time off for the salvation holiday. Hardly things that could wait, if you ask me.

[Work, huh? It's a party, and Yuuna meanders on over with a couple of cups of warm drinks, probably hot chocolate or something. Setting one down on the other woman's desk, she just has to ask.]

Not taking a break even for a few minutes, Cordelia?

[Cordelia gives Yuuna something of a thankful smile.]

These donations won't sort themselves. There are people waiting for them.

You're right, they won't. But at the same time, you can wait a few minutes. Relax a bit, stressing over those reports won't make them go any faster. And you'll feel better for it.

[Cordelia comes over, bundled up herself, to help Metalhawk with the bag.]

Thank you again for helping, I wasn't expecting as many Rangers to volunteer to assist me.
