[When the video starts, Mei looks a little unimpressed. She's here on a mission, though.]

I was wondering if anyone has seen a Klefki roaming about. He's...likely still in Ninetales Vale somewhere. It's also very probable that some of you may be missing keys.

[She certainly is.]

In that case, I apologize. If anyone happens to find him, please contact me so I can retrieve him.

[Action]

[Sure enough, there is indeed a mischievous little Klefki floating around Ninetales Vale and...appropriating any keys that happen to be unattended. Some may be on his key ring, the others...the world may never know. He is the only one worthy of being the keymaster.

There can be only one.

He could be in your house, hanging around in a shop, watching and waiting for someone to set their keys down, or simply looking for a suitable place to dump keys that are unworthy of being displayed on his ring.]

[Noire and her companions - a Purrloin and Duskull - are going through the valley, as Noire has made a commitment to help train a certain 'mon there. But she pauses, hearing the jingle...]

... Did you two hear something?

I wasn't paying attention.

Don't go paranoid on us again, kiddo.

[Unfortunately, Klefki are generally not very silent. All it takes is a little movement to jingle the keys on their ring. It stops after a moment as the Klefki hears the girl and her Pokémon approach.

He drops an...unworthy key down a gutter as he floats towards the newcomers, the jingling moving closer and closer.]

[Noire shivers... and then swiftly grabs the Duskull. Purrloin covers its ears, as Noire suddenly begins shouting-]

WHO DARES FACE ME?! REVEAL YOURSELF!

[The Duskull is very chill about the grabbing and yelling. As if he's been through this a million times before.]

[That was an interesting change. Quiet one moment to loud the next. If the Klefki could tilt its head, he would. But sure enough, he does reveal himself, floating out of an alleyway, with a dozen or so keys hanging from his keyring, the clear source of the jingling noise.

He then proceeds to stare at them.]

Pfft. Look, that's what you were so afraid of?

[Embarrassed, Noire lets the Duskull go, though he seems pretty disappointed. She immediately goes back to her shy, meek persona.]

... Actually, it's really very cute.

[The Klefki can only wonder why this girl goes from loud to quiet like that. Not that it really matters. He floats in a circle around her, jingling every few seconds as he looks to see if she has any keys.]

[Noire has only one key on her at the moment - a room key, in her pocket. But all three of them are clueless to the Klefki's intentions.]

Heh... It's kind of soothing, once you know what the noise is... Hello there.

[If he could see it, he would be examining it. But alas, there are none in sight. Still, he hasn't seen these three around Ninetales Vale before. Therefore, they're worth investigating at least.

He can always continue his mission later. He blinks as he floats up to eye level with Noire.]

Ki ki ki...

[Noire smiles shyly.]

... My name is Noire. It's nice to meet you. This is Crux...

[The Duskull waves.]

... and Fate.

[Whereas the Purloin, jealous of the attention, begins pawing lightly at Noire's leg, but she ignores it.]

[The Klefki merely gives a jingle of his multitude of keys and another creepy 'ki' sound. He looks serious though. He has an important task, and he mustn't fail be become the one true master of keys.

He looks at the Duskull in particular, though. His own trainer has an affinity for ghosts.]

I seek keys.

Keys? What, like this?

[The duskull yoinks out the key from noire's clothes, making her yelp.]

[Oh, good! So she does have a key. There's a pleased sound from the Klefki.]

Yes...let me examine it.

[He's going to go ahead and float around to inspect said key for any flaws or any defining features.]

It's my room key. It's really nothing special.

[However, she has been keeping it very clean! She washes it every day and never lets it rust.]

Hm...

[The Klefki inspects it like he's some sort of master at this. And he is! At least in his own, delusional little world.]

It's a wonderful specimen. Worthy of joining me.

J-Joining?

[Noire swiftly grabs her key back.]

But I need this to get back into my room.

[If he could, Kazuo would scowl.]

Then you may call upon me to unlock it.

But that might take too long! I really need it!

Where do you reside?

[Well, as a Sword - Ky happens to carry quite a few keys on his belt. He's out patrolling the streets, the sounds of the marketplace keeping him from hearing any possible out of place noise.

For a moment, he turns, glasping the hand of a young kid trying to steal from the stall to quietly warn him off of thievery before he gets in serious trouble]

[Kazuo has to wonder why there are so many worthless keys in this city. He has no interest in the people. Just keys. It's his sole motivation.

When Ky reprimands the kid, the Klefki finds a great, but brief opportunity to try and slip some of those keys onto his own keyring where he will decide their fate.]

[There's all sorts of keys of different sizes and metals: house keys, keys to handcuffs, storage keys, cabinet keys. It's amazing how many things he has to lock up during a daily routine.

So far the theft is going well as Ky is distracted, until the key ring hits his side after some of the keys has been relieved. He lets go of the kid - who bolted off and turned around]

What the-?

[Yes, there are many...

And many that need to go. When he's spotted, the Klefki just stares at the man, continuing to slide that last key on there.]

[It takes him a moment to full comphrend what happened - then his eyes narrowed]

Give those keys back.

[The Klefki's own eyes seem to narrow a bit in return.]

Kikikikiki!

[He sounds angry.]

I know you like keys, but I need them for work.

[Ky started slowly, last thing he needed was to spook it into running off or acting aggressive]

And to get home.

[He gets to hear another cluster of rapid jingles and Klefki gibberish. But those keys need to be judged whether or not they are worthy!]

[He takes a cautious step forward, seeing that it's not inclined to listen to him]

Very well - where is your human?

[The Klefki doesn't seem bothered by this.]
