If you ever go back into Wooly Swamp...
Log Deputy:
axiomaticgrue
Log Deputy Schedule: We'd like to request a 24-hour cycle; at least 1 tag every 24 hours (dependent on at least one player tag)
Participating Characters: Yuuna Sugasawa, Haruka Tenoh, Son Goku, Rei Ryugazaki, Merill, and Usagi Tsukino
Plot Description: A group goes out to explore the Northern Wetlands to see what they can find.
Warnings/Notes: Maybe language? Rated M for Mudkipz?
[The trip over the swamp hadn't been too bad, and given that there were enough large flyers among the party it'd really only been a matter of hours before they touched down at the edge of the marshlands. It was still late enough in the day that getting a good start wasn't entirely feasible, so a camp is set. The next morning comes quickly enough, and with boundless enthusiasm Yuuna helps get everyone ready for the trek up into the new area.
And with everything taken care of, she heads towards the edge of the wetlands, a staff in hand and galoshes on her feet positively vibrating with excitement. Her Pokemon seem restless too, excited to get going, but nervous about what they might find.]
Everybody set? Because we're burning daylight already.

Hold on everyone! Kyo, don't you dare let go of Rei!
[And they're pulled down! Suzume and Kyo are huge and heavy, strong enough to fight the current for a bit, but it's inevitable that they'll get caught. So the two Pokemon do their best to shield the trainers with their bodies, holding them tight and moving together to form a wall. It's not perfect, but definitely better than getting sucked apart and separated.]

The only thing he really can do- get prepped to take a really deep breath in case they fail and are taken underneath. He can hold his breath for a long time, but he's not so sure about the others.]

Now to make sure the rest of them do, too. Still holding onto Arishok, she taps her Warp Band. ] World Shaking!
[ And out comes the Rhyperior, immediately flooded with an emotional imprint of the situation from his Trainer. Landing behind the beast of burden, he grabs Arishok's hindquarters and grunts. One hoof at a time! He'll push, too. Nobody can match him for refusing to budge! ]

The unattached are quickly sucked down. Fatty Hooves and World Shaking will hang on a little longer, but in the face of what may be postulated to be a Whirlpool attack, they eventually succumb as well.
There is what seems to be a hole at the bottom of this tunnel. The entire group is drawn down, spat out into a water slide, and then... ejected back out into the swamp. ...But it seems different, somehow. The dangerous atmosphere and the disgustingly muddy waters have changed - the water seems moderately clearer, the air seems slightly purer...
Welcome to the heart of the Northern Wetlands.
From behind them as they shoot out of the hole, a large creature follows after and lands with a thud. It rolls its eyes, snorts, and then splashes into the water to swim away. You're welcome, hairless landbeasts.
All around, inquisitive eyes stare at this motley crew, though they quickly retreat when noticed.]
((That's about it! Feel free to continue threading but we'll probably introduce the Northern Wetlands within the next few days! Thanks for threading and being active with the log!!))
