[The feed starts up with a Pidove staring into it, cooing softly and pecking at the screen. It then changes to it's owner, Vanitas, with a single grey feather sticking out from one end of his hair]

Sorry about that [he clears his throat] I was just wondering if anyone here knows how I can become a nurse? I've tried asking the doctors at the hospital but they seem really busy all the time, so I thought maybe someone in Union would be able to give me an idea of where to start.

I think you need to go through training, though I wouldn't know where to start. Ask a school?

A school? Where would one of the schools be at? I'm sure any school can direct me to where I need to go but I don't know where to find one to start off

ummm... I am? I was born in the forest so I think I technically am. I've been living here for a while but I don't know much in general

Oh. Well, the easiest school to find would be the one not far from the Habitat.

I would have to check it out, do you know what kind of school it is?

No, I went to a different school. I think it's probably one for people interested in or good at raising Pokémon.

oh I didn't know they had schools for that, I should really check it out

[he looks to the side for a second and then back at the screen]

Are schools difficult or scary?

[warriormouse]

[This boy must be a lot younger than he looks]

Scary...not really, not once you get used to them. It's hard to say if they're difficult though since each person is different. I had no trouble in my school, but a few of my classmates struggled a little.

So it mostly depends on myself then right? Does it involve memorizing things? Because I'm really good at that.

What did you study?

I was always going to join the Swords, so I went to a school for others like me, studying Union's laws and history and...well, I took a lot of religion classes. Memorization helps, but a lot of places also want you to be able to use the information in real life.

[beyond_hope]

Oh ok so it just takes some time before you can become what you want to be? It seems difficult but doable. Do you know what I'll need to learn about besides care taking?

[warriormouse]

I wouldn't know, honestly. If you ask at the Habitat, I'm sure they'll tell you.

You want to be a nurse?

[ Maki's in a family full of doctors who run a hospital, so she has some connection to this kind of thing, already expecting to become a doctor herself when she's older. ]

It's not something you can just do you know, you have to study medicine and biology.

[Vanitas didn't even know what a nurse was until he moved to Union, and he's become fascinated with them since then]

Well if I do all those things I could then become a nurse, right?

It's a start. But it's something you don't just jump into. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Even more so if you want to be a Doctor.

I don't want to be a doctor, I want to become a nurse to help out the doctors. I just want a place to start because I know nothing of what I'm supposed to do.

How long do you think it'll take? A bunch of years?

The best place to start then would be going to the hospital and asking to be a volunteer, so you can see how nurses work. It's not an easy profession, but I'm sure they would welcome someone to assist them.

[ Maki knows only a little about how her parents run their hospital, but she does at least know about candy stripers. ]

I suppose so. You will need to study at the University as well.

a volunteer? would they actually allow that? It sounds like it'll be fun

University seems like it'll be fun, difficult, but fun

It's a common thing in hospitals, to look for volunteer help. It's not very glamorous, you end up being a gopher or someone who cleans, but you can learn a lot from the nurses you shadow, I'd imagine.

[ Maki's the daughter of the people that run the hospital, there's no way she's ever volunteered herself. ]

I'll go down there later and ask if they need someone. Even if it's not the most pretty of things any experience would be great to have.

Have you ever done anything in hospitals?

I can set something up for you, if you want it. My parents run the hospital after all..

[ N-Not that she wants to help other people! ]

Not really. I've spent the day with Mama and Papa there before, but never really did much.

I...I'm not sure yet.

Well when you're sure I hope you find someone to help you out as much as you've helped me
