[ So Melaka had issued an open challenge to people a while back with the offer to buy a meal for anyone who won against her. And theoretically for them to buy one for her if she won. Either way, it's been delayed a fair bit over all, but... Well, either way, time for the lunch with Haruka.

So Melaka contacted her, told her to place, and they would meet up there for a lunch. Simple. Easy. Not a date. Not going to be complicated by something or another. Hopefully it won't be awkward for her. Could even be fun. ]

Haruka grins as Melaka receives her bag. ] This was a profitable diversion.

Deff - didn't know this was hear, like I told you.

[ And she grins, holding the bag closer to herself as she heads towards the door. After all... ]

[ ...are you getting the door for her again? If so Haruka will chuckle as she breezes on through, her own package tucked beneath an arm. It'll be fun to see what the art critic thinks of this.

Her grin is 100% for Melaka, though. ] What's next?

[ Man that smile. But yes, of course she is! Only polite, and she has some manners and maybe she just wanted to see that smile too. Either way, she grins a bit herself as she clarifies: ]

Well, we just showed I don't know this place like I thought. Might as well see what else I didn't know.

[ Progress marches ever forward, huh? Haruka keeps up that smile. ] As you say.

[ She lets her own eyes drift across the street, seeing if anything arrests her attention. Places to kill time....Things to do.....

...what's that all the way down the street? ]

[ It's a bright sign with blinking lights which is pointing downwards. It seems the door leads to a staircase down into a gambling parlor. Melaka is really used to seeing that, so she actually doesn't think much of it, though. So Haruka might need to point it out, even though they are walking in it's direction ]

[ Gambling isn't Haruka's usual scene either, frankly. So she's mostly just entertained that they actually have their parlor in the basement.

As a result, she ends up lingering outside even if Melaka keeps walking. Do they really think that adds to the aura? ]

[ Union's also just a city that builds up in general - it's probably more that it happens to be on the floor below this.

Wait. Why isn't she following - glance back ]

[ Are there eyes on her? Oh, right, Melaka. Haruka sniffs and tilts her head towards the gambling parlor. ] Not your style?
