[He'd heard they had video on the Warp Bands but his old one hadn't had that feature. Maybe it's a good thing this one does.

Martin is in a room in the medical center when he starts it. Which is the problem. He died. He's not supposed to be back in the medical center two months later decidedly not dead and an Enlightened!

But he's back and now he has to adjust to these sharp little claw-nail-things on his fingers on top of everything else. What is his life?

Before Martin gets a chance to say anything, a Budew grabs the band and starts poking at it.]

No, Laterose, not right now.

[The Budew goes out of sight and Martin focuses it back on him with a sigh]

Um. I...I'm not quite sure what to say right now. I'm back? Is that what you say when you die and wake up two months later in the Forest? Is this normal for Enlightened?

[He clearly has more questions but cuts himself off]

Anyway. Could someone catch me up on the last two months?

[ One fairly standard sign of life, go! ]

And that is without getting into... human quarrels. [ A Floette pops her head around Duke's to tell Martin that "that was Duke's way of saying that's all he noticed, because he fell asleep in a pile of books again." ]

.. It was not a pile.

[Oh, such a cute Floette]

Overwork?

[ The Floette immediately agrees that "yes, its overwork", floating back up to her flower. ... which happens to be tucked in Duke's hair. ]

Laulyse believes so. It tends to be what we argue about most. [ She begins listing off "and where it is okay to sleep, and how much you need to eat" and Duke makes a face. ]

I take it she mothers you.

... Yes. [ And she looks rather proud of it too. ]

[Don't smile, Martin. Don't do it.

He manages not to! But still very amused]

Boar tries the same, only since he's a Honedge he usually just ends up glaring at me.

Its a little hard to pull someone into anything when your 'hand' weakens them. [ Poor Boar. Laulyse thinks the honedge could probably poke Martin in the back with that sheath if he really wanted to. That could work. ]

... I think if he hasn't decided to do so already, its for good reason. [ Laulyse don't give his pokemon Ideas.... ]

I buy his food. That's the only thing Boar likes more than me.

That would do it. [ Laulyse looks sceptical for a moment, but does nod. Providing good food is acceptable for not getting jabbed.

"... Speaking of food-" Duke makes a face. Apparently its time that she needs to make sure he ate. ]

I can take a look through the records if you like. I'm in the histories often enough. For anyone dying and coming back enlightened.

If you find anything, I would love to hear about it. Even if it's just about trauma causing Enlightened abilities to manifest.

Trauma may be easier to find.

[ Ah. Manners- ]
