Dojo for Training

So I've seen a few dojos around but not a lot designed around really skilled personal trainers. I've been looking at an open space on a ground level tower that just opened up, it's a bit pricey but if I can manage it I'd like to turn it into an open training dojo. I can teach Pokemon to use attacks they might otherwise not be able to learn, and I know I'm not the only one with that ability.

Also, my Snorlax wants to teach a Zumba class, which is why I need a ground floor facility.

I need a bit more money to get the space though, is anyone interested in partnering? We can share the profits of course, I'm not as interested in that.

Dojo you say? I might almost take offense to the idea that the one I work at isn't designed around 'really skilled personal trainers.' Though, Yashio's is pretty small, definitely not on the scale of what you seem to be talking about.

[She waves to someone off screen, presumably the afformentioned Yashio.]

But, he's asked me to see if you'd like to work something mutual out. We've been wanting to expand a bit, and we've got a pretty loyal student base and supplies, among other things.

We'd like that, I think. Starting something bigger is better. We specialize in training humans fighting and fitness, and in the very basics with Pokemon. Neither of us have the requisite skills to teach attacks, though.

Fei Fong Wong, nice to meet you Yuuna. I think that'd work well, I would like to include training for humans in our curriculum, both Earthkin and non-Earthkin.

And I'm sure we can work with that. Some sort of joint curriculum, probably.

Enlightened, I think you call them here. I've trained with both and depending on typing mixed classes can get a bit... interesting so I want to figure out a way to have that happen a bit more safely. I think it's also good for non-Earthkin to learn how to fight Earthkin, it seems like a good lesson.

Ah, yeah, Enlightened.

I'm not one. But I've definitely fought a few of them. It is a good lesson to learn, one that'll keep you alive, really.

Well, hopefully we won't have to fight a lot, but I want to make sure anyone we train with knows how.

You mean teaching Pokemon new moves, right?

[She's pinged by this because of the possibility of sharing her talent, on top of the chance to help fund something that's good for the community. And getting her family's name out there isn't bad either.]

Yes, exactly. There are many moves they just can't learn on their own, they have to be taught.

Ah. I...would be willing to help with that. And possibly a bit more, with the funding.

I appreciate it! Especially on the funding part, real-estate isn't cheap out here.

My family is always willing to help out useful enterprises. It never hurts to have a variety of interests to bring in money, my father says.

And it's something I think is worth doing. If you're able to get a few more backers and the project gets more serious, I'm willing to put my family's word behind it.

What classes?

Zumba. It's this kind of... athletic dance exercise he found out here. It really resonated with him, he's been using it to keep in shape.

I see... Well, whatever makes him happy, I guess.

But a dojo, that's an interesting idea. Have you had any luck so far?

A bit, yeah. A few people have offered to help and financially support it.

That's great news! Is there anything I can do to help?

There is, actually. I need to get in contact with the medical center, I want to stock up on supplies. While I hope nobody gets hurt during training, I know it's pretty much unavoidable.

That's not a bad idea. I don't know how much they'll be able to spare, but the flow of people coming from Caldera has slowed down. I can see what I can do. Having a few people on staff that can help with any kind of injuries might not be a bad idea.

Yeah. If nothing else, I want some good first aid equipment on hand.
