Hello. My name is Ashlynn Gealb'honn and I will be heading into the Old City through Entrance 8 in five hours, once I've gotten supplies together. I intend to search the remains of the Old City for pokemon and Delvers who may have been caught by debris and to help get them out and get to safety. I would greatly appreciate help in this endeavor. I repeat, I will be leaving in five hours. Meet me at Entrance 8 if you intend to help.

If you are a Delver trapped in the Old City, please respond if you are able and with a rough estimate of where you might be if that, too, is possible. I'll do everything I can to get to you.

[Ashlynn is busy and focused on getting plenty of food, medical supplies, and other necessities for a rescue mission. She was probably defying a few safety and emergency regulations, but she didn't care.

You can catch her at almost any part of the city during the five hours after her broadcast with her houndour 'Brom' and her scraggy 'Cake'.]

[ So he shows up after a group of delvers had been escorted out, an awkward half-smile on his face, slightly oddly shaped blade at his side, and a clinking bag attached to his belt. ]

More help is always better, right?

[ So maybe he's here because the books he's reshelved have gotten knocked off ... again. ]

Delved? No. I was a ranger for.. a year. [ He pauses after that, and adds. ] Quite a few years ago. I still remember how to use a sword, and my aim isn't that bad.

[ Which is the clinking bag. It holds spare change and rusty bent nails. Don't ask- ]

[Ashlynn nodded, but still looked worried. He really wasn't equipped for a long trip underground.]

Have you ever gone on a prolonged trip into the Old City, though?

... No. But I'm even less suited to going to the mountains. And every earthquake brings down what I've been doing.

[ There is only so much research that can get done when there is an earthquake going on. ]

... If I need more than food, a light source, and something to deal with pokemon that won't go their own way I can go... find it?

You might want a blanket, a jacket, a change of clothes, and slightly more food.

[She suggested kindly.]

It's much colder down there than most would expect and having something to pad the ground when we need to sleep is helpful. Blankets also make excellent make-shift pallet for the injured. Strap it to a couple of long poles and we can safely drag them along. I already have poles and a smaller blanket. A second one could help.

You don't have to get any of that, of course. We can go back in right now if you'd like.

[ Oh that makes more sense. He gives a sheepish smile. ]

Somehow the idea of staying long enough to need to sleep down under the city didn't occur to me.

[ By the sigh and faintly scolding tone of the flabebe not very far under his ear, she had brought up the option and he hadn't listened. ]

... If you don't mind waiting another hour tops, I can go get things.

[ Honestly, he's willing to do so simply because she knows what he's doing, and he doesn't really. ]
