Who: Merrill, Yuuna, Isabela, Maka, Sinbad
Where: Ruins East of Caldera
When: Early May
What: Exploring some of the ruins.
Warnings: None that I'm aware of!

[A new month, a new adventure. This really was the sort of thing Yuuna lived for. She wasn't a Seeker, true, and she wasn't a treasure hunter, it was just the thrill of the unknown. New places, new Pokemon, new...everything, really. That was what always kept her coming back, and why she'd never fit in with the others at school. She had a disease, she figured. Wanderlust.

And that's why she's pausing outside the entrance to these ruins, looking at the Magnezone with it's magnetic lamp, hand on her hip, just sort of spacing out. After a moment though, she turns to the group.]

Right. New ruins. Stay close, don't wander off, and for the love of the Savior don't pull any levers or switches without discussion. Got it?

[That seemed sensible. Though, the two young Enlightened seemed smart enough to know better anyway...]

Who: The Union Divine Theater and YOU!
Where: Union Divine Theater (not the courtyard this time)
When: May 3
What: Play auditions!
Warnings: Haruka Tenoh adlibbing. Also, amateur theater.

The Union Divine Theater's doors are open wide today, with an (elaborately-decorated, covered-in-leaves) sign advertising open auditions! Interested parties will be ushered into the theater by an effortlessly-polite Mr. Mime, then led onto the stage one by one. Once in the spotlight, they're free to show off any special talents they think might prove an asset to the play. Can they sing? Can they dance? Can they breathe fire while shooting Water Gun out of their fingers to put it out? This solo audition is their chance to highlight such abilities!

The second part of the audition comes later. In groups of two to four, potential thespians are led back onto the stage, handed scripts, and asked to perform a dramatic reading. The characters involved are all Pokémon - a bunch of Dark- and Ghost-type Pokémon who serve Darkrai and a bunch of Fairy- and Psychic-type Pokémon who serve Cresselia - and together they get into spats, scrapes, and general comedically-dramatic turmoil. The writing in this script is......either inspired or barely-readable, depending on your tastes. Melodrama and absurdity appear to be the rules of the day.

Spontaneously breaking into song is optional -- but encouraged.

Break a leg.

[[ ooc: Here's the auditions! Top-level comments for the first section of the auditions should be for characters showing off any talent you'd like them to be able to highlight in the play. Other characters trying out for the play can then react to everyone else's talents - comment, heckle, etc.

The second section of the auditions is a chance to adlib scenes from this production - the sky's the limit for what might happen. As long as you keep to the basic idea of "Darkrai vs. Cresselia lovers' spat", anything goes! The Pokémon you pick for your character to play will be the role they're ultimately assigned, unless you note otherwise. If you want the role to be a surprise, just pick a Pokémon for now and we'll let you know who they're playing in a few weeks!

Questions, requests for a random Pokémon, etc. can all go to the OOC post from last week. Feel free to jump into a group thread even if you hadn't signed up there, though! Have fun performing! ]]
