After the floral paradise of the last week, Monday morning will see every single foreign plant in Union gone. Not dead, but simply... vanished, returned to whatever source they had stemmed from in the first place. The wild Pokémon soon wander out the gates as well, no longer interested in the city after its pruning.

As the affected Enlightened slowly begin to regain their senses, a few people speak idly of the silhouettes that had been seen dancing in the night skies earlier that week - some even claim that they had spotted them once again earlier that morning, one arcing through the air to land quite close to Union by the Forest Shrine, the other only dimly visible far off to the northwest. But the Forest Shrine remained unchanged from its usual state...

In any case, it appears that the mild chaos had passed for now.

Ugh, this sucks. Why do I have to patrol? It's so early...

[About 11AM, there's a long haired boy in a Swords of the Savior uniform walking around one of the more populated parks. There's really no telling why they've let him wear his hair down, all that red flying everywhere. At least the flower petals and stuff have gone, that was annoying. He kicks a nearby rock in irritation before flopping down on a bench, not noticing the lady nearby who'd been walking towards it to sit with her baby... He doesn't even notice her huff and walk off. There's an Eevee in a cute sweater that's been trying to keep up with the seventeen year old, who finally jumps up onto the remaining space next to Luke and chimes in with a squeaky little 'Vee!' Luke groans.]

Don't add to it, Thing. You're so annoying!

[He tries to shove Mieu off the bench, but he just curls up under Luke's arm instead and he gives a dramatic sigh. His life is horrible.]

I should just go home already. Dad's probably at work, I could get away with it...

--this button here!

[ All of a sudden, there's audio that blips onto the network, but this time it's a little bit different. ]

I know what I'm doing! I mean, duh, I've had this warp band for a while, Pinky. I've totally figured this thing out. [ Even though there's nothing being said, it's just so obvious that there's something giving an incredulous look to human voice that's talking. ] ... Don't look at me like that! Gosh!

Fa fa cleffa. (You should have listened when your parents gave you the warp band.)

I totally paid attention when they explained it to me. I mean, I could turn this thing on and talk to people whenever I feel like it! I just didn't want to!

Faaaa. (Riiiight.)

It's true!

Hey. Excuse me.

[A low, terse opening to a message from a new signal, though the tone's not unpleasant. Just plain.

There's a face onscreen, with an expression to match it - a poker face about as passively, politely neutral as can be. Greenish hue, eyes glowing red in outdoor late-day light.]

What businesses in the city are open nights?

[After discovering the sudden disappearance of the foreign plant life, Aster is out and about investigating! ...Not that he still has any clue as to what made it all disappear. His only guess would be that, well...something or other did it. After all, strange plants don't just suddenly appear, reappear when gotten rid of, and then disappear altogether a few days later!]

[The pokemon researcher is currently wandering aimlessly around town, trying to see if there is any plant life at all remaining. Thus far, he's had no luck, and his pokemon aren't really helping. Tonitrus the Eevee is on his shoulder, looking around the area and yawning. The other two were left back at his home because for some reason getting up early to investigate the town did not interest them. What strange pokemon they were.]

I can't believe that it's really all gone. It doesn't make much sense, but none of those plants are left. And all of those pokemon are gone, too. I guess I shouldn't complain about the lack of sneezing, though. I'm definitely glad to be done with that!

The weird weather's gone, too, boss.

[Aster grimaces.]

Oh, don't remind me about those incidents, Tonitrus.

[The Eevee seems to smile proudly at the "pain" induced in his trainer.]
