[With the earthquake having shook the foundations of the city, there had been much cause for panic. And in the case of the Old City, it seemed that it meant to flee in droves. Flynn was unfortunately caught in the stampede going on in the streets and was currently trying to get out of the way of the fleeing Pokemon. Oberon, who had recently evolved into Beautifly, was flying above him and helping him maneuver his way out of the wave.

Any chatter that might have been going on from the wild Pokemon blended together and became muddled together, making him unable to pick out anything coherent. At the moment though, getting to a place where he was less likely to be trampled was his current priority.]

[ Woop. She rolls out of the way for that here and then adopts a sprawled battle position. ]

What about making it to higher ground so we can deal with the stampede?

[Pulls out his sword and uses the flat of it to deflect a stray attack.]

[ Standing jump, she could get up onto some of the ledges immediately up there and they can go from there. For her part, she's raising her forearms to take some of the attacks which come, because she'll just heal ]

[Distance wise, he can cover a good chunk of ground.]

[ Okay. Well then, she'll just see if she can lift him. She's always been strong, but for all she knows, he could be over her limit. Plus she's not that strong (yet).

[The moment she tosses him, he is taken by some surprise but reaches out for the ledge and manages to catch it. He tries to pull himself up and it takes a while for him to get one arm up over the ledge. Oberon flutters overhead and watches as he manages to get up.]

[ And Mel touches down, grinning to have managed it! Until a large group of pokemon run past her and sock her in the face. She ends up falling back, and is briefly stomped on by several. Ow ]

[Uh oh.]

Oberon, help her out!

[The Beautifly dives down and unleashes a string shot that latches onto one Pokemon, and he he then uses it to trip a few others before they got to Melaka.]

But no, she gets up, first onto her knee and then up onto her legs. She's bleeding a little, but snarls and makes to crouch to make ready to jump again. ]
