[VIDEO -- 10/18]

[Cordelia was called into HQ early that morning, like most of the rangers were. After a large piece of Union came up missing in one night, they were prepped to initiate an immediate response to figure out why, searching various known areas. They had a day to prepare, but instead of gathering her supplies, Cordelia took to the air waves.]

At least two men from my division are missing. Robin and Peter Parker. [She pauses, taking a breath, closes her eyes briefly, and continues.] Robin was last seen last night at his residence, and Peter at the Rangers Headquarters. Neither were present at this morning's check-in.

Divisions 1--my division--4, and 8 will be leaving Union tomorrow morning to begin investigations; 2, 7 and 9 will be staying in Union to act as support to the Seekers, Swords of the Savior and Guard; and divisions 3, 5 and 6 will be on standby and will dispatch as more information becomes available.

Those affected by the disappearances last night, please respond. We are trying to compile an active list of people missing, so that we can better assess the situation. If you know anything about the whereabouts of those missing before their disappearance, please contact us. Thank you.

[ACTION; RANGER HQ -- 10/18]

[In the day she has in Union, Cordelia is scrambling. Obviously deeply affected by her partner's disappearance, she does her best to try to hide it by staying as busy as possible. She can be seen either trying to process Peter's paperwork, working the stables, or preparing supplies for the various search parties.]

[DREAM WORLD -- 10/18-10/31]

[When Cordelia does manage to sleep, her dreams are a bit more erratic than usual. While some do fall under the very mundane--going through routines with a few oddities sprinkled in--this disappearances have triggered a bit of fear in her, drudging up old memories. Stranger still, even if the events and times don't line up, a certain white-haired tactician seems to show up a fair bit.

Really? Usually that is the first thing my mother says to me when you come up in conversation.

[She looks a bit confused.]

[He looks a bit more closely]

Yes, this is most curious indeed! I appear to be taller than you, even!

Have you grown a bit? You appear to have grown a bit.

[She doesn't seem skeptical about that. It totally makes sense to dream Cordelia that he would instantaneously grown pretty much overnight.]

I don't exactly remember anything of my past but I feel secure in stating I don't think I've grown in years.

I see.

[This should probably matter, but dream Cordelia doesn't seem to connect the dots, and instead smiles before gently brushing her lips against his.]

That's all right, I like you as you are now. Shorter or taller, it doesn't matter to me.

[That was not the reaction she was expecting, and Cordelia stands there. She still seems mostly taken by the dream world, but something almost seems to click. Her face flushes a bit, realizing what she did, and she plays it off with a shy smile.]

Robin?

[He's a bit flushed]

Yes?

[Why is he reacting like that, he doesn't normally react like that in her dreams? What is up with this?]

Ah, my apologies. I guess I'm a bit nervous.

I suppose it makes sense, but at the same time, what could go wrong? We could forget our vows, the rings could come up missing, the food could be undercooked--

[Well, all right, a lot of things could go wrong. That wasn't actually what she was trying to get at. Cordelia quickly clears her throat.]

But at the end of it all, no matter what happens, you and I will be married. So there's nothing to be nervous about.

...Although now I'm a bit nervous myself now.
