Sheesh, its been boring here lately. How can any of you stand it?

[The Warp Band feed shows Sho looking bored out of his mind. And a bored Sho usually meant some sort of chaos was going to happen in the near future.]

And what's with all of this stuff? [To punctuate his point, he flicks a decoration, making it wobble dangerously.]

[Normal people would use the walkways like everyone else. The paths existed for a reason after all. But Sho didn't care much for such things. As of right now, he was just leaping between buildings and getting around that way. Down below, his Houndour Kagutsuchi trotted along easily and in no rush at all to keep up. They always found each other in the end anyway so he saw no reason to fret.

Coming to a stop on one roof, Sho looks around briefly, makes a bit of a disgruntled sound and leaps into the street below, not bothering to check if he almost landed on someone or not.]

Because it's nice to come back to a peaceful home after exploring out in the wild for a few days?

[He frowns at that response.]

But nothing fun happens.

I suppose that depends on your definition of fun. I manage to have plenty of it.

Good for you. Though it can't be nearly as fun as fighting.

Physical fighting, or challenging others to Pokemon battles?

[She raises an eyebrow but keeps her expression calm.]

Does it matter? As long as it gets my blood pumping, I don't care.

There are plenty of ways to get one's blood pumping that don't involve fighting.

Exercise, for one. I find riding my Rapidash Hibiscus can be quite exciting, too. He can run exceptionally fast.

Home's there to be home. It's better if it's kinda boring.

Hey, careful with those Soulfasting decorations. [Huffing quietly.] Were you not listening when I told you about it?

They're for Soulfasting, the festival that's coming up in a month. [She's only going to go into the details about any of it if Sho asks. ~~She doubts he will but you know. She's prepared to on the off chance he does.~~]

[Okay, he said he hadn't been listening to Natalia's lecture about the festival but he had picked up he did remember hearing the name of the festival.]

And you all are putting them out now? No need to go soulfast, ahahahahaha!

[She purses her lips for a moment, clearly making an effort to not laugh at the (admittedly very bad) joke.]

So we get excited. It's not that big of a deal or something.

[At least there's someone who is amused by his jokes. His old man would always be less than amused, like the majority of other people.]

If it's not such a big deal then why are you all doing it?

[He pokes the decoration again.]

[She exhales softly.] I mean it's not a big deal that we get so excited. It's a holiday a lot of us look forward to.

Huh. And what's so special about this one?

[He did nearly land on someone--at least it's a someone who manages to sidestep at the last moment.

But Minato isn't really interested in weirdos who don't use the walkways, he's more concerned with the conversation he's having with a Murkrow perching on a nearby pole. The near collision doesn't really bother Minato that much, although his companion probably has a cross squawk (or several) for the newcomer.]

What? What are you squawking about?

[Blue eyes flick from the redhead to the Murkrow before closing and sighing.] He says 'watch where you're going.'

[... One might get the feeling it may be more than that (and probably a lot ruder), given how noisy the Flying-type was being, but he's quickly silenced with a look from the Shifter.]

Oh, is that it?

[Totally not going to apologize whatsoever.]

[That gets the Murkrow to squawking again as he flies down from his perch and lands on Minato's shoulder. There's a slight twitch of annoyance as Minato taps the bird's beak to silence him again.] Tanaka, that's enough.

Rather obnoxious, aren't ya?

[Kagutsuchi comes trotting on down the path, having finally caught up. The Houndour pauses at the sight, but then continues on his way.]

Geez, what took you so long?

[Saying something to the effect of "you have no idea" is so tempting, but Minato doesn't mind as much as one might think. The Shifter's eyes sweep between the redheaded stranger and the Houndour.]

... Not from around here? [Hey, he's seen plenty of people around Union and someone who looks like Sho really stands out.]

Yeah, I am. What's it to you?

[He only glances at the other, his body still facing Kagutsuchi. The Houndour chuffs a little with a certain kind of patient noise to it.]

Oh yeah! All kinds of costumes, and food, and decorations, and scary stories and haunted houses...it's kind of the big fall thing here.
