[Action - Lake Shrine]

[Sora had been to the Lake Shrine once before, it was where he had met Elhaym. He decided to come back to train, since even though he wanted to go to the canyon- it was a out of his league still. And so there he was, Pokemon and axe in hand, ready to put in a hard's day work]

[Except not quite. It's been hard to focus the past couple days, so it's not long before he gets distracted. And so he's easily found in front of the shrine, lost in thought while his Pokemon wander nearby]

A shrine where the dead can appear...

[He crosses his arms as he watches the shrine and after a moment, frowns a bit disappointed]

Nope, none yet. Maybe it's at night?

[Action - Medical Center]

[After he got through a few hours of training, Sora's managed to accumulate a few cuts and bruises from various fights - the most notable one being a scrape on his cheek. None of it is anything serious, just a mix of usual training troubles and a certain level of carelessness. Normally, he wouldn't even bother the Medical Center with it. In fact he's still planning not to bother the Medical Center with it. He can buy bandages from a pharmacy for all he cares.]

[But he did make a promise to Roxas that he'd come back, as well as see Lucas again. And so he can be found in the Medical Center, trying to find either one. And....possibly getting lost in the process. Why do all these halls look the same again?!]

Oh, yes, I'm fine. This is just...

[Elly grins. It's sheepish and she shrugs, slightly.]

...a pinch of bad luck and a sprinkling of a stupid call on my part. They healed it just fine. What about you?

Oh...sorry to hear that. I'm glad you'll be fine though!

[And he looks sheepish]

I'm fine, just some scrapes from training. I'm actually just here to see someone.

Mm-hmm. Nothing to worry about. Oh, you are?

[She meant to ask about Roxas, actually, but a potentially hurt or sick friend sounds a little more serious than that.]

Oh, I hope they're okay.

[He bites his lip a little. This is still really awkward for him]

Uh, yeah! They'll be fine I'm sure, don't worry.

[Elly misreads the awkwardness as nervousness. The blanks she fills in are wrong, in this case; she assumes someone must have been injured worse than most, and their condition is far from certain. She frowns for a moment, then she steps closer and puts a hand on Sora's shoulder.]

Hey... [She smiles, then, trying to look reassuring.] Don't worry, Sora. They're going to be okay. The healers here are the best in Union. They've helped a lot of people through a lot of things.

[Then why is my brother just a shell, he can't help but think bitterly. He knows it isn't fair, the doctors really have been trying their best. If anything, things might be his fault for not being there for Roxas sooner.]

[But he doesn't want to worry Elly, so he'll look at her]

Yeah, I know. They're not in any danger. Just...not ready to be on their own yet.

[Elly frowns, then she nods her head at Sora. She smiles, sadly, and nods her head, pulling her hand back to her side.]

I hope it's soon. [She nods, then hesitates.] Ah, Sora... I meant to tell you. [This sounds very weird, now that she's trying to put it in words.] I met a boy who looked like you. I don't know... why, but he goes to the university too.

[Oh he was happy to move onto another topic when- oh. How come he gets the feeling it's going right back to that topic]

A boy who looked like me? Did he say his name?

[Sorry, Sora, she knows not what she does. D:]

Roxas?

[It's okay Elly no one expects the disney depression]

[Yeeep guess these train tracks runs on a loop!]

That'd be my brother.

Oh, then...

[She can put it together, then; she thought something was up with Roxas, and suddenly the fact that someone was here that Sora was worried about explains everything.]

...that's who you're here to see.

[It certainly makes it a little easier on him that she's putting it together. His own feelings was still reeling from it. To explain it to other people...he wouldn't even know where to start]

...Yeah. That's right.

...I'm sorry.

[She looks down again, then she shakes her head. It makes her angry and sad at once; she doesn't really know what's off about Roxas, but it's something. They're clearly trying to treat it. It doesn't seem fair to saddle a brother with that sort of sad responsibility.]

If there's anything you think would help, that I can do, let me know, okay?

It's...it's alright.

[No it's not. He knows it's not. He wants to believe that Roxas would get better, but he honestly didn't know. He didn't know if he'd get his brother really back, nor did he know what this would entail for their futures. But what else could he say?]

Thanks. Just....don't judge him for this? [He has no idea if he's saying it right] It's not his fault he's like this. He's just been through a lot, that's all.

I know it's not. I won't. I think people will know that, and he has other people looking out for him. And since you're here...

[She shakes her head, considering. Did Roxas remember Sora at all? She has no idea; Sora could have been here for him for years, now.]

That means he has that much more of a chance to find himself, Sora.

[It's a relief to hear her say that. He's been worried that people will just write Roxas off as crazy, as someone who had no chance who'd spend forever in here. He didn't want to believe that. Roxas was just a little lost, that's all.]

...I hope so. [he looks down again, his hand holding onto that crown necklace of his before he starts talking quietly] We were separated after we lost our parents. And when I found him again, he was like this.

But...he remembered my name. After everything he's lost...he still remembered my name.

That gotta mean something, right?

[She flinches at the mention of lost parents. It's sad; it's unfair. But that's the world they live in, and the world that they want to change.]

It means a lot. It means his memories are still there... that they aren't lost. If one is, then more could be.

[She hesitates, then she nods. She smiles, and it's less purely reassuring, more genuine, this time.]

It's something to build on, too. You can make more memories and help him recapture what he lost.

Yeah....forgotten, but not lost. [he gives a small smile, even if it's sad]

That's what I'm hoping. Whether or not he regains his memories, I'll stick with him.

[She smiles back, then she nods with a look of some certainty in her eyes.]

He'll be fine. [Eventually, at least. She looks at him, then she looks down at her leg, catching sight of the bandages again.]

Oh, I... shouldn't keep you, I know you're busy. And the healers said I shouldn't stand too much on it.

-- Oh! Right! Your leg's hurt! You should go sit down for awhile!

[But he looks grateful at her]

[She waves her hand at Sora, then she starts off down the hallway. There's at least no limp.]

[He'll wave back and watch her go, before going his off to find Roxas]
