[Action - Lake Shrine]

[Sora had been to the Lake Shrine once before, it was where he had met Elhaym. He decided to come back to train, since even though he wanted to go to the canyon- it was a out of his league still. And so there he was, Pokemon and axe in hand, ready to put in a hard's day work]

[Except not quite. It's been hard to focus the past couple days, so it's not long before he gets distracted. And so he's easily found in front of the shrine, lost in thought while his Pokemon wander nearby]

A shrine where the dead can appear...

[He crosses his arms as he watches the shrine and after a moment, frowns a bit disappointed]

Nope, none yet. Maybe it's at night?

[Action - Medical Center]

[After he got through a few hours of training, Sora's managed to accumulate a few cuts and bruises from various fights - the most notable one being a scrape on his cheek. None of it is anything serious, just a mix of usual training troubles and a certain level of carelessness. Normally, he wouldn't even bother the Medical Center with it. In fact he's still planning not to bother the Medical Center with it. He can buy bandages from a pharmacy for all he cares.]

[But he did make a promise to Roxas that he'd come back, as well as see Lucas again. And so he can be found in the Medical Center, trying to find either one. And....possibly getting lost in the process. Why do all these halls look the same again?!]

[Stationed as City Guard sometimes you must protect the people directly over indirectly, these are the moments Bertholdt loathed the most. Scouring the halls of the medical center waiting for anyone that seemed remotely in need.

The boy he found looked rather lost and as much as he'd rather not, Bertholdt must stick to protocol.] Excuse me.. do you need assistance?

[The normally shy boy isn't great at the whole 'conversation' thing. Obvious signs that he was nervous, not the mention that in his guard uniform it was easy to tell he was a Shifter Enlightened from his Pokmeon-like features. Standing tall and lanky in front of the other.]

[Sora, being someone who was just barely over five feet, feels like he just got approached by a giant. He looks up...and up until he sees Bertholdt's face. The guy definitely seemed nervous, and Sora couldn't help but feel ill at ease next to this giant guy]

Uh...no. I got it. Just looking for a someone's room.

[Most of his life Bertholdt has spent it looking down for one reason or another. His height was purely genetically, even as a Cyndaquil he was above average.

He pulls out a piece of paper from his jacket pocket.] I have a directory if you need it..

A directly? [...] Does it have patient names on it?

I can't give it too you.... but yes.
[He was given a list of names and room numbers for guard duty, the trust these people gave him was amazing;y foolish...]

[....That feeling keeps rubbing him the wrong way. He doesn't want to give Roxas's name to this guy]

Thanks, but I think I'll keep looking on my own. It can't be far.

[Bertholdts used to this sort of reaction when it came to others, he doesn't notice Sora's hesitation.] Okay...

Just don't linger much longer.. What's your name? [So he can report to front desk and see if you signed in. A sigh, this job was never ending..]

I won't. [Or at least not where this guy can see him....he rubs his temples]

Sora. It's Sora. What's your name?

Bertholdt... [His voice is low, quiet, like he doesn't wish to speak.]

I-If you'll excuse me... [He's not perfect at reading human emotion but he knows when he's not wanted. In his mind he feel assertive but on the out you can tell he's snacking slightly. It's nice to know the contact will soon be over..]

Bertholdt...okay. Thanks..for the offer.

[Even if you make him feel uneasy. The guy hasn't done anything, so he's polite. But...ngh. he should just go find his brother]

[Bertholdt's eyes just watch him as Sora takes off, reporting later to front desk and confirming that he was in fact a visitor.

Their meeting was brief but Bertholdt has a feeling that boy was no normal human being.. perhaps they would meet again.]

[THEY WILL BECAUSE THEIR HEARTS ARE NOW CONNECTED. Or some vague disney thing idek. Whatever they so will meet again.]

[But at this time Sora turns around a corner and takes a second to try to shake off that strange feeling. Just...what was that all about?]

[Berthholdt. Whatever the case is, he should try to remember that name]
