So, hey there. Maya Fey here. Because obviously, you... can't tell.

I'm looking for this body's owner-- you know, Jade? Looks like he's probably got mine.

[She doesn't have his glasses on, though, of course-- because they didn't come with the body. This does not deter her, as he apparently can see pretty well.

Should she be freaking out? Probably. She did that earlier, though.]

Anyway, it's not the biggest deal, but I figure my aunt's gonna have a big fit about this.

So I'm not gonna be home today. I'm gonna hang out at the forest shrine, so meet me there, okay?

[BLINDED BY GRACE-- oh wait no, Maya seems just fine. Haruka's face is boyish enough to tease, probably.]

It's Michiru. [she'll pretend she didn't see that hesitation.] I'm still trying to convince myself it's real. [not really, but switching bodies with your lover sounds like a really bad romance novel.]

I'll assume your aunt has been spared the particulars of this...event? [is she concerned for you as a friend? Maybe!]

Yeah... I'm not really looking forward to her flipping her lid over this, soooo....

[trying to do the things she likes only really highlighted the differences. Maybe doing something else would help.]

[She giggles, which is really weird in Jade's body, and causes her to cover her mouth.]

[that gets a smile] It only feels obvious when I'm inside a room.

That would be my partner, Haruka Tenoh. I hadn't thought I would be introducing her to you in this manner, but there you go.

[Maya smooths out a wrinkle in the hakama she has Jade in-- borrowed from a taller nun-- and smirks.]

Switching bodies with your girlfriend? That sounds like a page out of The Steel Samurott: Special Edition.

I wouldn't go quite that far. [mostly because Steel Samurott? What is that?] We seemed to have skipped the integral plot point where we're on the verge of parting ways and our relationship could only be saved by literally walking a mile in each others' shoes.

[Eevee rolls her eyes at even the thought of that happening, while Nidoran looks puzzled and maybe a little worried.]

Oh-- well, that's good, isn't it?

[Shinrei, who seems particularly distressed by the fact she can't hide in Maya's hair, tilts to the side in curiosity. She doesn't know much about lovers, either.]

Either way, it's still pretty funny. Iiii just hope it blows over soon.

It's probably funnier if you're not affected. [makeouts would get pretty surreal, huh?

Hmm.] The last odd thing that happened without any sort of explanation was the flowers, wasn't it?

...Well, I'm hoping that since I ended up in Jade's body, he ended up in mine. Then I won't have to search forever, at least.

He's some guy-- I think he's a guard, or something?

I really better check up on Jinxie and Fuyuhiko... You haven't heard anything from Jinx, have ya?

Jinxie brought me some extra clothes to wear. None of mine fit me right now. I haven't heard from Kuzu.

Well, look at you two. [Somehow, everything seems a lot more grave in this body. She's still amused, though, past Jade's weird cynical face.]

Savior, that's really creepy. Jade is so creepy.

[he shakes his head, and the litwick shakes her head. Apparently she's daddy's little mimic candle]

I'm still me.

[She wants to respond to that one first but oh god that litwick is just precious.]

Aren't you two peas in a pod? That's so cute.

[Ugh ok she'll stop smiling about it]

--You really think he's creepy? I just thought he was boring.

Ha. Yeah! Seems like I was a little too worried. I can definitely feel her draw off me, but it's nothing that eating and sleeping properly can't fix.

[The litwick throws up her little arms and flares her flame, exclaiming "WIIK!"]

I still want to come see you for training, but uh... maybe once you're... not Jade anymore. And he's... a little creepy, yeah..

...Y-yeah, I really hope this clears up soon. I... can't figure out what Jade can do. I mean, we're the same type, but it's still so different.

How am I supposed to teach classes like this?

[A sigh, and then she pouts. Which, on Jade's face? Not nearly as cute.]

Don't forget to come around when I'm back to normal!

Mmm... well, maybe a lot of your students are affected too? It might be a good idea to just cancel everything until everyone is back to normal.
