Action
[Well, this whole mess sucks surprisingly hard, in Isabela's opinion. Other people have it worse than being in a cute superpowered body for the duration, of course, but there are a number of problems with suddenly being Enlightened, or having a borrowed body she didn't feel comfortable using for her normal weekend activities. For one thing, of course, there are the horrible nightmares that have her restless and irritable, and for another, Pokémon now insist on engaging her in conversation.]
I appreciate that you're concerned, Doublade, but I'm fine. Gods, were you always this protective?
[Her floating-swords-ghost-monster companion simply continues hovering worriedly. Maybe he understands something she doesn't, or maybe he's just not listening to her now that she's got a type disadvantage, who knows. Lombre, for his part, is nearby and following orders and doing his best not to think too hard, which isn't actually much of a problem for him.]
I just wish I could make sense of all the noise. How does Merrill do this?
[Isabela continues doing what she's doing, sitting under a tree just a bit outside the walls and attempting to clear her mind. At least being in natural surroundings made her feel a little better, whether from being an evolved Fairy type or some of Merrill's habits just being imprinted on her body by now.]
[She could use a human to talk to, though.]

[Hopefully a pretty young woman with long hair will be acceptable company? She(?)'s walking with the very recognisable step of someone for whom long walks are a regular way to handle frustration and yet do very little to actually reduce said frustration.
A Floette flies at their side, looking slightly worried but clearly enjoying the walk through the trees a bit more than the person next to her]

[Well, it was someone to talk to, and she looked like she had problems herself.]
Metamorphosis got you down, or is there some other terrible thing going on I haven't heard about yet?
no subject
You could say that.
... you actually a girl with tatoos, or are you usually a big dude with a sword? Y'know, to put that out there straight away.
[His Floette comes closer to greet you cheerfully, though she's more wary than usual]

[That certainly is a feeling of cautious cheer on the edges of her mind. Isabela tries to think back a "hello there" at the Floette, despite having no idea if that's how it works.]
Normally a different girl with tattoos in different places and a couple of small swords instead. How about you?

I'm a guy, and I usually don't wear this many clothes--godamn ice type.

[She can now. This is the first time it hasn't been annoying.]
This is the part where normally I'd make a joke about warming you up, but I shouldn't be doing that in a borrowed body, should I?

Depends how much you want the usual owner to hate you. Could be fun.

Tempting, since you look like one of my types right now, but she's a good friend and I don't like messing up borrowed stuff.
